In south indian state of tamilnadu people still go to office in Dhoti and shirt.

Bro South Indian remained safe from Invasions through out history. Unlike Northern India and Pakistan. This is the reason why your Dhotis remain and we adopted Salwar Qameez

Ayub’s descenders are beneficiaries today. The man who destroyed Pakistan and paved the way for Bangladesh his grand son is nominated for PM of Pakistan. Omar Ayub is in making of Faisal Wauda, J. Tareen, Aleem and Asad Umar .

This gora complex is another reason why so many of the elite hate us Mirpuri's, especially the ones from the UK. It infuriates them that we can afford to rock up in the same restaurants they eat at, wearing Jordans and a salwar kameez, driving a Landcruiser - all whilst being working class or middle class. Meanwhile the same lifestle for them makes them think they're the new Emperors of Pakistan.

Dhoti is impractical bcoz it has no pockets. Also it has no zipper so bathroom break is difficult. But many people do wear lungi in south.

The idea that Akbar and especially Humayun spoke Punjabi in Lahore is a hopeless fantasy. The elite of the Mughal era universally spoke Persian, and there is no record of either Akbar or Humayun speaking local languages. Later Mughal emperors spoke Urdu, but Urdu is at least half-foreign in any case. Its script and a decent chunk of it's vocabulary are Persian and Arabic in origin. Why isn't there one Pakistani Muslim with an Indian origin name, even though Arabic, Persian and even Turkish names are fine? But I understand why this fantasy. Pakistanis need to pretend that the earlier Muslim colonizers that converted their ancestors were somehow different from the British colonizers who forced the English language and westernization on all of us. Sad really.

There is difference between Mughals and Britishers. Mughals when came then at that time yes they used to speak Persian but with time they started merging themselves into Indian culture and become the part of it. Urdu evolution is itself a proof that they were gradually leaving Persian and coming close to Hindi. They married with Indian queens, celebrated Diwali and Holi and did everything to be part of India. They even buried in India and never looted India’s wealth and went to Uzbekistan or Iran. So they became us but Britishers were different. They never celebrated Indian culture or became Indian their whole and sole motive was to loot India and make London richer and richer. It’s a big difference bro.

Interesting.... No one is belittling the culture that exists. Just giving an alternative. It's a side effect of integrated xenophobia that you're going to look down on something you can't have or can't understand. Means ignorance is seen as an advantage. This is sad. Learn everything including things you aren't comfortable in. That's what life is. If you don't want to learn then don't denigrate/criticize it or others who try it out. Like maybe? Pakistanis have issues with boundaries and it speaks volumes that now people have an issue with anything other than what they are comfortable with. This is why staring is a Pakistani national sport.

Sir ham ap ki izat karta hain. But but but you are far from practical world. You can read book, do debate, can give logical reasoning, but we You should understand we can go up strategically not by just claiming and blaming. British do nothing wrong, because you can't do same with British in today. I challenge you go to UK for trade and defeat them and accoupied their land. You and me know it's harder then impossible. Overall your performance was great in parizad. Pakistan zindabad.
