35:00 so I did my own bit of research, and I believe I found that fortress. It's called the Fort of San Felipe in Bacalar Mexico. Built in 1725, matches the stone texture, and I can see the exact place where the video starts. Though, the fortress is not on a peninsula. You *could* say Bacalar is on a peninsula, but that would be VERY vague as it would be quite the big peninsula. The only thing the narrator got right was that there were pirates involved. The fortress is now a Piracy Museum in quite a beautiful city

30:34 the clown one. I thrift a lot so I’ve seen a lot of these old dolls and I actually own something similar. These kinda of dolls specifically often are filled with sand in some places and often have ceramic hands and or faces so they’re kind of heavy in a few areas and because they’re filled with sand their poses can occasionally shift. The clown in that video is precariously placed on a swing against a wall, gravity did it’s thing and it eventually shifted and lost its careful posing on the swing and fell a bit. It really probably is pure coincidence and a cool spooky instance of something happening on its own without direct manipulation.

The location and title of video is "Fuerte de San Felipe de Bacala, Quintana Roo" by a user named "Florida Man" with 1 subscriber. The video is 2 minutes and 8 seconds long and the "ghost" appears at 1 minute 56. Also the location where the ghost appears is on public grass next to the road. If you skim about 30 seconds before this, you see a car drive by. The clip is so short (only about 20 frames) and the camera immediately turns back away from it (8 frames in). As for the quality the description of the video says "filmed in september 2022 with a Nokia 3310 (2017)". So yeah, a phone from 2017 that was a revival of a phone from 2000. The camera is 2MP.

For the ring video, it's very normal for artifacting like that to occur when the camera has been holding on one image for so long. It's why so many of these doorbell cams have ghostly things that occur on them, because the video isn't updating fast enough. The object itself is likely dust or a bug falling away from the building, though it could be pretty much anything.
@nokodemusic3 ай бұрын
I feel like the amount of "ghosts" would go down drastically if people understood video compression.
@Argacyan3 ай бұрын
I feel like the artifacting could also realistically be caused by light scattering from the car which moves in to the left. The angle & pace of it would line up, especially if the camera might have some water coating the glass which it looks like it had rained recently in that video judging by the water & respective light reflection off the street.
@slightlyaboveaveragebutaverage3 ай бұрын

That open window you spot around 15:47 is very common "airing window" in Nordic apartments. The style is tall narrow window you can open from the side hinges to let air flow. And here it's opened to about maximum the mechanism allows. Typically this leads to air flowing out of the apartment thanks to how our passive replacement air systems are designed. But if there's strong winds especially with other windows or doors open on the opposite side, or the kitchen's oven-vent is turned on and venting air out. The direction can easily turn inwards, helping those doors slam. My apartment doors slam surprisingly hard when there's through-draft situation in the apartment due to open balcony door in the far end :P

Possible explanation for 'The Ringer' which might be unique to British homes - external exhaust vents for boiler systems often run to the side of the house. The fact there is a lot of noise distortion could suggest the camera is near this vent as they can be fairly loud when the heating is on and therefore the boiler is running. The lack of leaves on the tree suggests its winter/August time and so heating would likey be on as it's the North of England. Therefore condensed steam from the boiler vent could simply be crossing across the camera due to a slight change in breeze direction.

Even if something is dubious or clearly faked it's satisfying to see the clips get dissected and explained with proper research, like the Ghost Hunters videos where the stories all get weird details, debunking urban legends and stuff. Also it's entertaining to see react to the immense heavy lifting Nuke and Bub do with 5 seconds of blurry footage where they/commenters give a smudge a full backstory. - Just a Certainly Not Dead Patient In A Hospital Riding a Bicycle into a Fortress to commit Piracy!

I used to have a bunch of those clowns on swings and they were ALWAYS falling off the swing. If you sit the butt of the clown (which is weighted) slightly off the centre of the swing, it just gradually slips down. Also if the clowns hands are at the wrong height of the ropes it kind of throws the centre of gravity/balance off or whatever, making it harder for them to sit nicely. It used to irritate me cause it was so hard to make them sit nicely and stay that way 😅

I’ve seen some urbex photographers even find boxes of medical records for old patients. Hell, it’s not even uncommon for abandoned places to actually still have power because they may be on a dedicated power grid or the property owner could still be paying for electricity to deter trespassing. The videos about ghosts holding doors shut remind me of the way front doors in various places I've lived have gotten stuck because of the humidity. I had one front door that got so stuck from moisture warping, I had to ram it with my body a couple times to unstick it. EDIT: Apparently instead of forcing the door open and going about my day, I should have made up a story about an 89-year-old man that sealed demons into my apartment, and then filmed my self breathing hard while I jiggle the doorknob.

30:35 About the doll one. I am from India, and i remember when i was small, me and my cousins had a lot of toys to play with together and have fun spending time. There was this toy, it was a skull with a string that you attach to a hook or screw on the wall... The toy actually had "audio sensors" and when you clap specifically 2 times, it used to drop down like 3 feet and automatically cranked up itself with the help of the string to it's previous position. And yes, obviously it was battery operated! And i do think, a little bit, the clown in the video might be some kind of animatronic toy, the sensors of which got triggered from some sound lol. I mean, what kind of a special toy is it, that you have to make it sit like on a swing platform hooked to a wall... I also saw somebody in the comments earlier giving a theory of dolls filled up with sand, which is pretty cool and interesting! Anyways, this is what i think about it. And i am definitely not sure how old the actual video is. Considering the timeline is after the movie "The Exorcist", it might have a chance to be that kind of animatronic toy! Regards, i hope You, Kimmy and the little ones are Safe, Happy and Healthy ❤

45:00 Definitely Chileans, they have the accent and name the hospital Felix Bulnes, which is a historic and important hospital in the country to this day. In 2020, the new building was finished (the one you show on Google images) and the hospital was moved entirely, abandoning the old facilities consisting of a couple of buildings. There is the original old building, formerly known as the Sanatorio Lo Franco (photo they show) and the "new" building where I think these kids are recording. This explains why there is no one else and with beds/furniture piled. I guess they keep some lights on for security and the kids sneaked in for the clout.

Gotta say, closest thing to paranormal experiences I had were usually all over the place. And most often just simply unexplained coincidences. Things like calling out for a friend to stop/slow down before crossing a road and a car actually coming out the wrong side of a one-way street. Stopping before putting up a tent on a hike and convincing others to turn back and just before you get back to the main camp a thunderstorm breaks out. Just little bits, where you likely just picked up on some stuff subconsciously (maybe a car rumbling, some weird changes in the air or off-seeming clouds), but that you could easily make you think are supernatural in nature.

It baffles me how some people, when they see something they don't recognize or understand, will IMMEDIATELY leap to a supernatural explanation. Why do that? What is the psychology there?
@hospitalhat3 ай бұрын
People have been giving supernatural motives behind things they don't immediately understand since the beginning of human history. Back then, it was just a fact of life because our collective knowledge was far more limited. We don't have that excuse these days, but the base instinct to apply an outlandish purpose behind an unknown action is still deep inside us. Personally, I find that trait in people endearing, but it can definitely become a problem if you let your imagination dictate your expectations too much.
