Super stoked for this, I beat this game fairly frequently as a child. I never stopped to farm life, but if you get good at the mini-games you can build up stores of drum punched and crane kicks that make the level bosses, last level, and end of the game super easy without having to exploit enemy spawns.
@satekeeper2 жыл бұрын

Very nice! I've never played this game, but it reminds me of Kung-Fu on the NES. This game seems ridiculously short even by NES game standards! It seems like in many old beat-em-ups kicks or jump kicks were the way to go for giving you an easier time. That knowledge about only having two enemies spawn on-screen at a time is more powerful than any karate technique! 😅 *Fun Fact:* Ryukahr-san actually trained Kim Sun-Yung, leader of Cobra Kai. After his training, he practiced in seclusion to hone his skills in both the martial arts and classic video games. He returned when the world needed him most: to host a popular KZbin channel and pass his wisdom onto others.

Okay I'm going to break it down a little bit for those who may not know. The C stands for Crane kick the d stands for drum punch. The bonus levels help you gain more points that will help you gain extra lives and what he referred to as a monkey in the tree was the old man from the second movie that mr. Miyagi rescued. If you grab him in the game it will restore your energy. BTW GREAT SPEED RUN👏

it looks overly easy to me. then again i wouldn't use the exploit, i never find fun or satisfaction in exploiting games to make them too easy, i try to play them the way they're meant to be played and ignore any exploits i find or hear about, it ruins the game. but even without the exploits it looks like you hardly take any damage when hit, unlike many nes games where those guys would take a quarter of your health in one hit, or quite a few where you die in a single hit. in this game daniel is a damage sponge.

@@Jack_80 That is because he was exploiting the 2 enemies on the screen thing. As you can see on the last level even he got screwed once and knocked into a pit. If I remember correctly, you can avoid the swinging hammer by pressing the controller at any point during the downswing. And in the Catching Flies With Chopsticks scene that you missed, the flight pattern of the flies is the same every time, so if you can remember your controller movements the first time you catch them all, you can repeat the same movements and catch them all every time. Just keep rapidly pressing the button the whole time. I didn't know this had the reputation of being a difficult game. My friends and I rented it one night and beat it pretty quickly. We had already mastered Kung Fu Warrior, and this reminded us of that, with a Karate Kid flavor. The tournament level was pure SHYTE 😂
