I hope you guys enjoyed the video. I sort of forgot to mention this point in my commentary as well but, Vergil also has access to resurrection via Yamato, which be at least equal to if not, superior to his healing factor. And Yamato is shown to resurrect Nero even while broken in pieces and across the room. Along with the ability to give continuous amps in power on a scale that vastly outweighs anything sephiroth has shown as well. So, even if I assumed(all of the points and evidenced that was provided in the video aside) that Seph could kill Vergil, Vergil would just come back anyway, and vastly stronger than before. Just felt the need to point that out.

Regarding that kailina ann vs yamato sequence I just thought that Vergil didn’t desire to cut through it. If he for some reason had the intention to do so, it would’ve happened.

Yes he had no intention to cut lady. I was trying to point this out I just think we got a little excited in talking about it so we glossed over it. Vergil literally chooses to have a conversation with lady because he was intrigued by the fact that she was there in the lair of judgement and what her intentions were. He did not make it clear at any point that he wanted to cut her.

An easy arguement to make supernova work is that since hero party can tank it they have that durability...and yet Sephy can hurt them anyway with conventional attacks.....so his normal AP will scale to that as well.... But it doesn't matter since Vergil is above Unrestricted Nightmare anyway who is High3A....Mundus had more hard time controlling Nightmare then he did Vergil....besides Nelo Angelo scales to Unrestricted Nighmare anyways....so GG Sephy...🤣🤣

I'm just gonna put this here because it seems that a lot of people forget that Sephiroth has this ability; Heartless Angel Heartless Angel is mostly seen as a move that can't be blocked or dodged and instantly drains the target's health to 1 whilst also disabling any magical abilities... yes, it's absolute bs in the games as well but it IS canon. Better yet, Sephiroth can use this move BEFORE he enters the Lifestream... meaning that he probably has powers that he hasn't even demonstrated yet (I believe it was even stated in an interview that Sephiroth has NEVER shown his full potential, not even in the games or the movie where his life is in danger) but obviously we can't account for those powers since we don't know what they are.

Wait DMC1 Mundus isn't prime Mundus. I didn't know that. Also scaling Sephiroth to supernova doesn't work because he went through the effort to get the black materia. Him being able to destroy earth on the fly would defy the plot.

Sephiroth does scale to supernova. It's HIS limit break. Also advent children sephiroth and by extension remake sephiroth( which we aren't using but they are the same so) does since they are stronger then safer sephiroth

Welp Sparda did remove the Demon's name and the Demon's name was pride but still he was able to pull illusion on Vergil. Removing name doesn't nullify their powers. But its important somehow..

@@biswajitprusty7170 When a demons name is taken from them, they lose the powers that are tied to their name. This is a major plot point in Vergil’s portion of the dmc3, as explained by Arkham. As for Vergil breaking out of the illusion, Vergil gets pulled into it then immediately pulls away to confirm who cast it, pointing out that Arkham isn’t responsible for it. He then sees it through to the end and asks the demon what it’s intentions are. He then destroys the illusion by killing all the skeletons in it, dispelling it immediately. Effectively demonstrating that he is both aware of the illusions he’s in when he’s in them, but is also capable of breaking out whenever he pleases.
