I love that there is no over-indulgent ego showing in his playing...sometimes that can be a turn-off, but this guy has mastered stoic presentation, irrefutable technique, and the ability to really give the audience an experience of the music and not just watching someone play...definitely one of the modern masters of the cello whom I am actually inspired by in the best possible way!
