Erard pianos are literally the best of the absolute best pianos ever made. There responsible for nearly all of the developments of the modern grand pianos. Erard pianos are known to sound like "water", and are very clear and have a very distinct sound. Honestly, these pianos make big brands like Steinway and Fazioli look like trash. Erard was the piano of the composers: Beethoven, Ravel, Wagner, Liszt, and so many I cannot begin to even list them all for you. I'm glad you have heard this recording!
