This isn't new. Black cowboys are everywhere and have been for along time. They where among the original cowboys back in the day, not the whitewashed version of what was shown on television..

As great as this is, the bit was just killing me! The horse was sharing clear sighs he was uncomfortable. Also maybe if you rode in a less harsh bit or hackamore the horse would stop worrying about the pain and would go to your commands and have the basic ground manners.

The last part was so hard to watch. The horse doesnt even know what he wants, it's just trying to stop its mouth from hurting.

no that horse is a bit shy that is why he holds it short, it could break out any moment.

This particular group of individuals seem to have the fanciest western outfits ever but they cant go buy a new brush or learn how to ride considerately with a shanked bit without bumping the horse in the roof of the mouth. I'm not impressed. If you want people to have a positive image of you in your mind, the best way to do so might be to put the horses first and treat them kindly and considerately. The last part was so hard to watch. That horse is being ruined by rough, uneducated hands and improper headgear. It's a saint for not bucking.

Lol funding is needed because of the 12% of the American population that AAs make, we own less than half of 2% of the land . The horse looks lame and uncomfortable, needs teeth shaving and a snaffle

These inner city stables need to be funded by the government. They provide wonderful healthy recreartion for everyone. The stables could be surrounded by a community garden. We deserve better that from our government than just being given a boring baseball diamond or a stupid park where all you can do is sir.

i live in the are the Black Cowboys where in and i have to say that is was the best thing for the land to be taken over by GallopNYC because these horses where being abused and the stalls where not clean and 6 horses had died there in 2012, another horse has a cough that wasnt treated and died and the stalls where far to small.

That's heartbreaking! That horse he's riding is in pain and that really sucks that a horse person can't see the obvious signs the horse is giving. Ugh!!! Maybe teeth issues? Put a hack on him until you find out please. Oh and dead horses? What the heck? I don't give a dang who owned them if it was clear they weren't being cared for why didn't somebody call for help?? This is pathetic!
