I like the clear lid for the boxes! Btw, you could always film these at your dining table or a folding table inside your house if the outside noise is bothering you. I bet your air-conditioned home is pretty quiet inside. 😉 Thank you!

Pre-drilling is probably a great way to get rid of chipping you might get when drilling. I like the look of the wire tho because it will hang farther away from the glass so more attention is on the glass and not what it's hanging from. Your glass bails probably work best! Thanks!

You can put a little bit of fibre paper or rolled shelf liner in the hole to keep it open

Look at Walmart for hooks. The last few years I have bought them with stars or snowflakes or beads on them. They are unique. I buy them up on sale after Christmas if there are any left

Perhaps a small thin gold or silver cording or ribbon to loop through the charm so that it has a bit of length to hang over the top curve of the piece and onto the flat surface. Love that addition, Jamaison! Thanks for all of the videos.

Also if you go the water jet cut route again... Then add in a drilled out hole along with the circle cut into the design. It probably would add to the cost each much, if any.

YES for sure! The guy I used explored this, but his industrial cutter was just too powerful to insert the hole -- kept blowing out the glass. But if someone is using a smaller Wazer-like cutter, I bet they could get the hole done well?

So my grandson got on the decals and went to fuse for him 90coe but you only gave 2 parts of schedule I don’t know how to ramp down a schedule , thank you

You anneal according to the thickness of your glass. I recommend 9999-900-60, then 100-600-off. You need to know your kiln and how you usually fire glass and anneal in your kiln to make the best call.

Thank you for all your wonderful videos. I made some of these rounds, of course I've already messed up. I used frit between circles. My question to you is I am not real happy with the colors and maybe not enough frit, can I add frit to the top and refire? If so what schedule would I use? Your decal are supposed to be here today, I am very excited. Thank you, jeni

I think you could certainly add frit and refire without issue but I would aim for a full fuse top temp (about 1475° for 15 min in my kiln with Bullseye glass). And make sure you anneal and hold for that amount of glass. Probably 90 min hold? I am an advocate of always trying to refire! If you still don’t like it, you can scrap it or use it in something else. Good luck!

How much labor time are you accounting for the creation of the glass disc (traditional cutting, grinding) vs the cost of material and water jet cutting. You mentioned that you thought the cutting for each (water jet) was more expensive, in another video. Is it 50% more, double, triple? $20 retail seems a bit low to me. $35-40 seems closer. Have you checked out the Artful Home website? They promote unique x-mas ornaments every year. These are not one of a kind pieces but limited production runs of at least 50 identical.

I think so much depends on what your market will support as well... some could certainly charge more. I will have to check out the Artful Home! And yes, for some, water jet cut shapes would significantly increase the cost of materials.
