Beautiful! I think it would have been every bit as gorgeous even without the decal! Wonder how hard it would be to do that with that offset bowl mould and have the pattern aligned to what would be the off center bottom?

Another great video! I'm pretty new at glass but have been having so much fun with your cool decals. I'm catching up on some of these older videos. I have been wondering about your chopper - in this video you referenced a source and said you would provide the link but I don't see it. Also, on so many videos you mention Lori's Moreno....but that link says she is not selling on ebay. Can I find her elsewhere? Thanks!

People can cut up their glass Rods to make more Murrine, easy to do with Rods that have colored cores.

I’m interested to find out how much weight your glass nails will hold… I made a mandala in a Target hexagon mold and was thinking about using your bails instead of drilling a hole to hang it as a suncatcher.

I haven’t really tested them for weight strength. Part of the answer may depend more on the adhesive you use. I am familiar with the hex you are talking about. How much does it weigh?

Hi! They weigh about 7 ounces. I have some E6000, and loctite glass glue. I’ll look at the packaging and see if it says anything about weight.

Is your murrini flat once you fused it? If not, what would your schedule be to do that?

This was a full fuse, so yes, it was pretty flat.

Why do you dust the clear powder over your pieces?

Only on some… it’s to ensure that cut murrini polish up nicely (they can develop devit) or to try to address any devit that may have started forming in a previous firing
