Its hard to get excited about a tent, but this Quechua has me gitty to go fight wildfires this summer. Setup and take down eliminates the hassle of setting up camp on the fire line or in the backcountry with the family.

I bought one of these a couple of months ago and it is a game changer! Such a great quality tent and so easy to put up. Best tent I've owned!

I purchased this tent as a backup tent as I do week stretches when camping. On my second camping stretch, my main tent (a large Coleman that I had for over 15 years) gave me problems where the main door zipper failed and it was not worth repairing. I set up this Decathlon INSIDE the Coleman to sleep in so I wouldn't have issue with bugs. I set it up super fast when I was ready to go to bed, went inside, and slept comfortably. Next morning, I woke up, was very comfortable, not a blanket over me, and as soon as I slipped out of the Decathlon, it was super cold. The temp had dropped to 9 degrees Celsius. I wasn't sure why I felt super warm in the Decathlon until I put it away. The outer fly has a reflective material on the inside - kinda like a "space blanket" (not as shiny/reflective) but it did the same job - my body heat was reflected back to me. It created a considerable micro climate that kept me comfy. Since then, I have replaced the old large Coleman with another large Coleman tent, but I always bring the Decathlon as a backup system.

I just came back from a three week camping trip on Corsica. I used my HILLEBERG Soulo and on the east coast i saw someone use two of those tents near me ( two children and parents). On this place we had a Storm rolling in with 75km(46mph) winds and the Quechua tents had no problems after that. I did speak with the Owner with my poor French knowledge.. He told me that he was really scared inside the tent and not sure it would handle any more winds, but in the end they did fine. I think the price-performance ratio is great and they did look "cool" ;) From what i saw i think they are most likely good 3-season tents. Cheers from Switzerland

Thanks for the review. Was looking for a motorcycling camping tent for my 2022 Summer Northern Canada trip (Montreal to St. John's NFLD to Tuktoyaktuk to Prudhoe Bay to Victoria BC). During this trip, up North it is the land of the midnight sun, so sleeping at night will be an issue. This tent, with its ease of set up fits the bill.

Great review. I just ordered one for camping at various kayak fishing tournaments I participate in. If I can fold it up easily in the early morning hours when I'm breaking camp in the dark, it will be a great investment! I won't have to go back to camp after a long day on the water. Love the black out fabric since I will be going to bed early when it is still light. I hope shipping is fast.

I just bought mine today, after a lot of searching online and looking at various tents, I came to the conclusion that this tent has everything I need, the black out fabric inside to block sunlight from turning my tent into a hot sauna, to the easy to set up and break down mechanism, to the amount of pockets inside + the line to hang wet clothes on it overnight or a lamp or w/e else you can think of, and also the doors that are on both sides which can be opened at the same time for a better airflow, not to mention this tent compared to my other one seems much better ventilated even with all the doors closed thanks to its entries above, and it prevents condensation so much better, just as you said unless you're a backpacker that goes on long walks into the mountains then this one is the best option, the only bad thing about it (for me atleast) is the ground sheet, it seems like a not so good fabric, its thin and textile based (or so I believe) I'm afraid that after some time grass or tiny objects that are slightly sharp like pebbles or sprigs might pierce through it, and for sure this ground sheet is not water resistant if you're planning on setting it up AFTER it rained already, then you'll definitely get wet (unless you put something under it like a tarp or anything water resistant) but overall I'm very satisfied with it.

Very cool, didn’t know they made tents with black out liners, but of course they do. Anyways, Quechua is pronounced KEH-chwaw

I like the color... I love that the inside is black. Looks like a nice tent and it's not crazy expensive either. Does it come with or need a ground sheet? Or did you need one? I didn't see it marked on the website. Thanks for the video brother

no its doesnt come with a ground sheet. Youd have to get creative if you were somewhere concerned about the ground being overly sharp. I rarely use one on any of my tents unless Im in cactus country and then I try to use hammocks anyway.
