its under rated because its WAY over priced. its almost TRIPPLE the standard Giulia Quadrafiglio...and its a very similar car with a wing. Car should be 100k not $220-245k. The Quadrafiglio is 80 - 88k for reference.

@@Vartazian360 You guys are missing the point, it will skyrocket in value. Look how much the C63 Black series was and how much they go for now. In Germany you are looking at 162.000€ for a used one with 40.000km when the new price was : 115.000€. If you want a Giulia and you have money theres literally NO OTHER MODEL you would want to have than the GTAm. Its the end of the line period. Its the same as with the M4 CSL etc. Price does not matter. Its for collectors. Theres probably 500 people who badly wnat a GTAm but only some people got their hands on it because its so limited in numbers. Imagine if they only made 500 special edition iphones, people with money would go ABSOLUTELY CRAZY for it, they would want to pay millions if nobody else can have it.

Such a wonderful sounding car, just to be ruined by the crackles and pops🥲. A quick tenth of a second of crackle on downshift is perfect, but the constant crackles makes a car sound broken, just keep it away from a beautiful car like the GTAm... Never realized how obnoxious it is... until now.

@@KK001 Well, that really depends on so many factors, also horsepower numbers shouldn't even matter that much nowadays; we have almost 2000 horsepower hypercars (Rimac, Lotus Evija) but also very fun naturally aspirated manual sporty cars (Toyota GR86 with 228 hp) so really it wouldn't even matter to enthusiasts, even if it did have less than 350 hp.

@@Spectrolite1 think it would deffinetly have to have some hybrid stuff going on to up the power but more importantly add torque which youd be low on with a na engine. I drive a lexus is250 with that na 2.5l v6 and its nice, but deffinetly lacks low end torgue especially with passengers in the car. Deffinetly would be fine for a 2 seat sport car though.

It really dies off around 6500rpm. I know people that like the sound but it never did it for me. The Busso is god tier and I don't mind a VR6, but no exhaust has been able to overcome the farty nature of the twin-turbo V6. She has bark but doesn't sing

I just don't see how the GTAm is worth 130-150k more than my Quad, stick a remap on the Quad and I have the same power and shifts ? I get the whole exclusivity and extra's but when you line them up next to each other there is not that much in it ? I just feel Alfa could have sold many more of these at a more sensible price - and awesome car btw - not slagging the car one bit, just Alfa's pricing !!

@@Inazuma68 less restrictions on airflow and allows for better and more consistent fuel mixture. Some do it for the flame potential, but I wouldn't tune a decatted car for flames, rather just for performance, flames comes with it if made properly

For all the tuning lovers here.. decatting a NA engine WITHOUT A GOOD TUNE. Would even LOSE hp ,same with some turbo engines . The backpressure is needed for exhaust scavenging and valve overlay to draw in new air.
