Not every customer will be happy to pay Rs 100 to 200 for a bottle of water. But still great innovation, the rich should atleast promote its usage.

Dehumidifier with water purification, definitely a good option for areas with humidity but where there's no or very less humidity it won't work.

Nothing against the innovation but, Please use rainwater harvesting and not this , If enough people use this this will lead to dry air in Bengaluru and changes in the pressure conditions and other bad consequences

It doesn't work that way 😂 More evaporation from seas and other sources (oceans have the biggest surface area) would immediately compensate for it.

@@crazydrifter13what about interior areas?
@crazydrifter13Күн бұрын
@@user-vv8wb7ej9q if you measure Humidity near their bottling plant, it won't be lower. Evaporation will happen even from interior areas but it's an insignificant problem to think about. We don't worry about one single grain of sand blowing with the wind hitting a truck while designing the truck.

This is clickbait. What they are doing is small scale and niche, no way this will "solve the drinking water crisis".
@finestbat4512 күн бұрын
If it is cheap and scalable, could be a good alternative especially for areas without other sources of clean water.
@Username-e5l2 күн бұрын
@@finestbat451what he said is true. This is small scale and niche and it’s is not cheap and the water production is heavily dependent on the humidity(water production is directly proportional to humidity/moisture) and the amount of pollution in the air. This is nothing new and was already experimented if it was that successfull then this technique would’ve been used in water production in places like Dubai,Saudi Arabia etc

I had dropped this idea in 2010 as it has the potential to irreversibly damage the atmosphere & hence the ecosystem that is depended on it. Be aware of the long term consequences to the environment... sometimes, we need to let go of certain innovations for the sake of our future generations.
@anirudhgupta2814Күн бұрын
Hey can you explain me more??? How it is irreversible? Previously someone in the west also made this and same argument were brought forward by many people. Can you explain in detail?
@p_n_9xq_usrКүн бұрын
@@anirudhgupta2814 Atmospheric water content is mainly due to evaporation of ground level water. In regions far away from seas, this is very critical as the water bodies are limited in number. You would have noticed that people from costal/lake regions generally have a better natural skin texture as compared to people from arid or land locked or mountainous regions. Plants near water bodies are more lush/softer compared to ones in deserts. The primary cause is the level of hydration the skin receives naturally. Now, have the folks here measured the extent of humidity depletion done for producing 1 liter of potable water? Are there any recharge method to maintain atmospheric humidity adopted? Imagine a situation where this technology becomes so rampant that it is used virtually all over the country... you would end up having pockets of extremely hot and dry regions and concentrated humidity around water bodies. This will cause changes to wind/rain and flora pattern and hence will have a cascading effect on the lives that depend on it. In other words, you have seen the effects of ground water depletion... now imagine depletion of atmospheric water!

This was the concept mentioned by our honorable PM i.e water generated from air through windmills where he faced backlash and he was badly trolled by the critics. Hence a perfect example of how Indian society don't accept innovation.
