Texas did away with minimum speed limit signs for the most part a long time ago, in the early 2000's in Houston. For some reason they came back in Laredo, they're still around in Amarillo, and also, speed limit signs now use one round pole, instead of two round or rectangular poles , some of the signs with two poles are still around rural I-10 in west Texas, but not for long I reckon. Especially with speed limits being uniform since late-2011, instead of differential, there's no need for two poles anymore.
