I don't care what anyone says. The '80s was the most fantastic decade ever. Everything was happy and carefree. The commercials are a microcosm of society.

Is that Grant Show in the Jordache commercial? Tab soda was the nastiest thing I ever had. Jaleel White Toys R Us. Clarence Gilyard J.C.Penny.

Funny how George Clooney was on that episode of "E/R." Ten years later he would be on the other, more popular "E.R." I remember how around this time as Stacy Keach was on the new hit show "Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer," he was arrested for cocaine. I didn't know until now that he spent six months in a UK prison for that, and he was still able to stay on the show.

Grant show using Jordache, Ian Ziering eating Campbell Soup🤣 it's hard to believe we know these people as adults now before they even started out like that we didn't even recognize them😂

22:28 Dick Summer does a nice voice-over for V-8. Bostonians and New Yorkers know this voice. 17:20 Doug Jeffers on the voice-over for Diet Coke. 23:59 John Leader on the voice-over for Soft Breadsticks from Pillsbury. 4:40 Another great moment in television advertising. 6:33 The voice of the enigmatic Leon Redbone. 17:02 Get a room! ;) 23:19 The obligatory VO by Peter Thomas. This time for Sears. 1:45 The models in this JCPenney commercial are interesting. LOL!

I remember it would be another decade before they no longer outlawed prescription drugs. Those were the days!

20:14 wait. Is she embarrassed because she has braces...shows braces. ::Burst into Tears:: A time when commercials manipulated to the core of a person. Well played Kraft.

Nowadays people don't know how to think for themselves... TV commercials and social media are straight-up propaganda
