Very sad to hear we won't be able to enjoy your monthly setups! Minimal spreads are still interesting and can be inspiring for those who do want to keep their bullet journals more simple. Maybe give it some thought to share a few throughout the year?

Yes minimal spreads are useful too, I agree! Just figuring out whether there will be a setup in advance, and the value of sharing it over other things. It’s always a balancing act with managing time and commitments! ☺️

I love the beautiful journals people create on youtube or instagram but often find myself intimidated to even start for fear of the intricacy (or lack thereof on my part). Excited to see your more minimal journal for 2022!

Beautiful month. I would love to see what you do with a minimal monthly layout. There are less examples of minimal bullet journaling available. While they might be less fun to watch every month, I think occasional examples of minimal layouts would be great. I LOVE how mindful and positive your journaling is, thank you so much for everything you share❤️

Hi @Reflect with Raksha I’ve enjoyed your monthly setup videos & for me, the simpler the better. 😁 (I only use black pen & maybe one colour for most of mine, & don’t have a title page - just a nice clear monthly calendar page)You are the only bullet journalist I regularly enjoy watching because you combine the mindfulness with the set- up in such a peaceful yet inspiring way. Eg. Love the idea of 31 acts of kindness, and whatever mental fitness tips you have that can go in a monthly focus. So if you’re discontinuing only because of super -minimal plans, then maybe we as your fans could suggest that we would love to still see your monthly setups? But also respecting your decision if for other reasons. It has been an immensely tough year, & especially for the UK. Hope all is well with you & your family, and best wishes for the season.

Thank you so much, that's really great to here. I won't be afraid to share even really minimal monthly pages in that case. There is a bit of pressure to think of new ideas when sharing them on KZbin (and by a particular time in the month), which then has the opposite effect (blocking all ideas!) I'll see how things pan out after setting up for 2022, it may make sense to do a monthly planning style video, instead of a standard bullet journal setup one! I am very excited to see the new content about mindfulness next year. I do enjoy your monthly setups because they are so calming. But I think this is mostly because of the format (watching you layout your journal and the calming voice over) which might also be a possibility for other content than setups. I actually come here for your tips on focus and simplicity which do not necessarily have to include a whole setup. So I am really looking forward to your new concept!

That is quite a challenge. I generally tend to try and focus on one or two priorities for a day that have to get done, and then everything else is flexible. I write down my priorities for the day and try to focus on those, and then work through other activities. It's a tough balance to achieve!
