December 2021 Namibia part 19, Twyfelfontein to Brandberg & White Lady.

We decided not to go into Organ Pipes again @ R80pp as we had both been there before, and instead took the sand track to the Doros Crater. We are still wondering exactly what the attraction is as there was no info. The road deteriorated towards Brandberg and we were ploughing through some thick red sand for about 30km before hitting a dry river bed. An oasis appeared in the form of the back entrance to the White Lady Lodge and campsite near the berg. Excellent rates and service, highly recommended. We offloaded the snare we had picked up at a previous camp. The next morning we took the guided tour to the White lady (man) painting in Brandberg Gorge, which was worth the 5km walk anytime. Big attractions in Namibia are now impossible to do unguided anymore.

I seriously need to get out of South Africa is it any better? I want to immigrate over there.. at least for time being would you consider something like that? PS: love the video.

Namibia is safer than South Africa. I'm not sure of work opportunities though. it is a truly beautiful wild country.
