Ben, this video brings back many memories! For over 4 long years, I volunteered (?) to work in the body shop on Minot AFB in North Dakota! Uncle Sam had a whole fleet of those International trucks! Over time, we had to replace or repair EVERYTHING on them! And, I don’t want to see a gallon of “Air Force blue” paint EVER AGAIN!😵‍💫

This comment is a addition to my first comment. C&C equipment is the youtube channel name. They specialize in heavy equipment building plus any Jeep from the forties, they handle new parts and or complete kits to make one yourself. Clint is a "mans man" or what we said many years ago. He has just grown so large that he is limited on time. No longer working on other peoples equipment, he does the auction buying or private sales, and then sells his refurbished equipment.

So, what's the lead time for getting a truck worked on? Might plan a trip late spring early summer to bring my 67 up for some restoration. Nothing too wild, just get it roadworthy enough to drive it back to Texas. Also, a lot of International are showing up on FB marketplace Killeen TX

Like your old metal you save for one thing or another, I guess I come under being "Refurbished" or salvaged/LOL. About a month ago, I graduated from hospice to regular doctors and medications. Its painful just like paying at the pumps for fuel. When I started driving a rig in Rockport Washington.., gas was thirty plus cents a gallon and diesel was still a nickel a gallon. I have seen it as a kid too young to drive but dad made sure I did know about fuel prices and such so it was a half a cent at the bulk plant for Standard fuel "CO"... Yes company as they had not incorporated yet. Things have changed quite a bit since early fifties. Yes I agree, my comments are too long, ramble, poorly worded and no structure but what can you expect a kid who never attended a school in his life as a kid. My education came much later and paid for out of pocket. I can remember having four seasons in a year on our "Dumb gasoline" and we didn't have all those nasty storms until things did change on our fuels we got. The Caribbean Sea got nasty, hurricanes started getting really bad on the east coast just because we started our management systems. As said before I ramble so hope you can follow or depict what and where I am going here. Clint from C&C Equipment in I believe Indiana or at least heavy rust belt area loves those OBS Ford rigs, has a lot of parts available and is a wealth of information on the IDI engines as he rebuilt the one in his personal shop truck. It is sad as he has got so big that contacting him is going to be a challenge but email is your best option. Sales is done through "Uncle Scott" there as it is a family business. I love old metal as I can relate to it very well. I am not a kid anymore. I live in alaska and have now for the past good many years coming here in 84 and never went south again. Millions made but so few that survived to the point that you've located many in. I just kinda started watching youtube again as other things took prominence. I hope you can keep up doing this kind of thing. There will never be a place in the USA that builds these old corn queens on this body styles or configurations.

What about the blazer and that black car in the shop??? Are either one of those for sale and what do they have in them for motors tranny and on the blazer the transfer case and axles???
