Decent pink computer case

This is the DIYPC RAINBOW-FLASH-F4-P. It's roughly $65 before shipping. Cheaper cases can be had, but pink cases are seldom. This is a decent budget option.

Hey, so im pretty new to pc building, so it might be a stupid question. When installing hard drives, on top there is a mount, but at the bottom there is just empty space. If i want to install my hdd at the bottom do i just screw it to the bottom, or it needs to be mounted on something? Thanks

Sometimes, yeah! You’ll have to consult the manual to your case, and if not maybe line up the holes with your eyes, but sometimes a hard drive is able to be mounted to the case itself, at the bottom like I think youre referencing. As long as the holes line up, and you use the correct screws, fine thread or coarse thread, and as long as the hard drive is secured there shouldnt be an issue. Yeah I have the exact same case as in the video, it's just a different color, I mean if there is no mount on the bottom but holes I think I'll just go that way.

Does the fan connector need a converter connection to power up?

I’m sorry, I don’t think I understand the question. The fans use a molex connector for power

🙈 sorry complete newb with all things pc. My daughter and I are going to attempt to build a gaming pc and we just received the same pc case yesterday…. I wasn’t sure if the connectors would just plug straight into power supply or if we needed to purchase a special connector? We plan to unbox and build this weekend, so I wanted to purchase any necessary parts prior. 😂

@@faithinJESUSdaily The power supply will have the connector required for the fans, unfortunately its a less than ideal connector, as it can be a little tough to plug in. Good luck on the build though, I hope everything goes smoothly

What's specs did you go with for her PC? I'm guessing quite the upgrade over the Kaveri APU

A couple years ago I upgraded from that APU to an i5-3470S & GT 1030. Now she has an i3-9100F & RX 580 8GB. And while testing her new computer, quad cores really are on their way out

pretty good case but not as good as a a 2001 Gateway 'Essential' slim full tower with pentuim III windows 98 and 667mb ram
