Best LED Headlights for a 1st Gen Cummins for the Price!

Just remembered something about these old Dodges and headlight adjustments. The nuts that those adjustment screws screw in to are plastic. A few years ago I drove about a thousand miles to the desert and when I parked and got out I noticed one of my headlights was facing down at about a 45-degree angle. One of those plastic nuts had broken in half which allowed the screw to pull out. I got some wing nuts at a hardware store and replaced both of them. Anyone working on their lights might want to take a look at that and maybe replace those nuts before they end up breaking on them on a dark night.

Your stock are way brighter than my stock. I have needed to address my headlights for a very long time but I also don't want to be just another A-hole driving around blinding everybody. I have been back on the East Coast for the last month commuting home every evening on 30 miles of Back Country Roads and I end up getting blinded by oncoming traffic several times every night because my lights are so dim. After a truck Blinded Me for a good three to four seconds after he passed me, I figure it is finally time that I order some aftermarket lights because the situation really is kind of dangerous driving around with stock headlights that are so dim. I really like the clean cut off on the lights in your video so I'm going to most likely get them. The Price is Right also

How much power do these pull? More or less watts/amps then the originals? Will I need a relay to not burn up the stock light wiring?

These pull much less than stock. You don't need the relays for these but I still run them on relays. I have a video on that as well.

Nope these do not require a relay. I still run one but the draw from LEDs is way less that stock hesdlights

I forgot to ask oh, are these LEDs heated? I noticed it's knows where you are at and if they are not heated, have you had any issues with them freezing over?

These are not heated unfortunately. I rarely drive my truck in the actual snow though. Based on your other comment these are exactly what you need. The cutoff is great and you won't be blinding other people.

I just installed these headlights with the relay harness. I love them but I cant seem get them to adjust right. The low beams are too high and lighting up everything and my high beams are too low to do anything. I have the headlights in the same way yours are but can't get them to adjust right.

I'm not sure if I'm just really dumb, but I clicked on the link for the headlight relay kit and and didn't see a price for it. Would you be able to resend the link or provide a part number? Also, I'm really new to wiring. It would be awesome if you could make a video on the headlight wiring harness, showing where all the wires and connectors go to and where you put your relays. Thanks!

Thanks for the response. I need to update that link. I bought that relay kit and was filming the install last week and it was not a very quality kit. I will be ordering a better one that I feel comfortable endorsing and will update it at that point. Should have that ready by mid March. Stay tuned

Are you getting flashed at all with these? I would like brighter lights but there is a huge problem these days with people installing headlights that absolutely blind oncoming drivers. It's to the point where I hate driving at night anymore. Many times I honestly can't see anything in front of me except the fog line. That's the only thing that keeps me in the lane and I have no idea what's directly in front of me. Scares me to death. I wish they would enforce brightness laws that are already on the books in most places. It's downright dangerous.

I never get flashed with these. You'll notice in the video I show the low beam cutoff. Most the cheap headlight upgrades have no low beam cutoff whereas these have great low beam cutoff
