I'm currently playing the first in the game, its kind of crazy how the first game is to how the second or even the third game is in the series. Almost not even close to the same, if you removed the titles of these games you would probably not even recognize the first one was part of the series.

Only the first is different, the second, third and fourth are all pretty similar. the fifth is a mixture of first and second or so I heard.

@@blindfollower For sure. The first in the series is very different. The only way you could say they were linked besides titles is the fact that in the second game Kagero: Dception 2. One of the endings suggests that Millennia is the same person in the first game. Even by changing the name to Astarte(giving you extra Ark in the beginning of the game) also suggesting that the one before was the first in the series. Kind of crazy though how much of a change happened from the first to the second game. The idea is similar, but execution very different.

@@NoName-oy2tk I wish Tecmo would find a way to link the third one into the main storyline. We know that Deception 1, Kagero, Trapt and Deception 4 are related, but Deception 3 is a separate timeline. But would be cool if they explained that it was the Devil/Fiend that was draining Reina’s soul through trap usage curse instead of not providing any explanation whatsoever.
