Big tidal exchanges between the two islands through the pass. Sometimes currents over 9 mph and whirlpools. With strong winds it can get really nasty. I wouldn’t go through on extreme ebb or flood tides but at milder times it’s a great place to practice skills.

Embracing Detours that deer was pretty funny. It’s interesting how wildlife become comfortable around humans 🤔 but scary as you don’t want to hurt them. Like being in Yellowstone!
@charlesb42674 жыл бұрын
TJ, I think you and Bri will have to drive back there to the island and find that field again when they are harvesting and find out for sure what it is !. If it is wheat its not one I am familiar with as that flat head with what could be described as a two row head ( like two row barley ) does indeed look like two row bearded barley somewhat but I haven't been around rye and due to how advanced it is I wonder if its a fall rye that was planted last fall. They would have such a different growing season then I am used to so it could even be a spring crop seeded early in the spring. I guess we will never know for sure but its fun guessing.
