My husbands orders is to there, so ofc we’re gonna b moving there tg soon. How’d you manage to b stationed there for 17 years? Did you put in a request to stay there for your new contracts? Both me & my husband thinks Washington would b perfect for us & we’d love to stay there for as long as we could in one place yk to have some type of stability for our kids, bcz he will sign for several more contracts, pls get back to this comment, we’d love to know how you managed several years in one place!

@@meamamas8660 I went there in sept of 1978. I took back to back sea duty to stay there. In the 70’s and 80’s it was easy if you had dependents due to cost. Out of 17 years I had 6 years shore duty. Safe travels and enjoy your time there.

Loved the Sculpting park. My great uncle was into wood sculpting. He made a statue sculpting of Popeye. It was good too! He made a lot of them. How was the food at Seabolts Smokehouse Seafood? Jed you Sandy both had my favorite iskeam. I don’t blame Sandy for not wanting to go into that Fort. It looked spooky to me. Cute though that you found a bird there. It was nice to see that canon. That bridge did look scary walking by the side near cars. Great seeing that lighthouse too! Thank you fir this great video. Have a great week abs see you soon!

@@WanderfulRevolution Well please tell Sandy she’s not alone. Anytime I tell my children I joined the Navy but wasn’t a huge fan of the water they get an odd look about them. Luckily for me the old adage “Join the Navy and see the world” rang true without me ever setting foot on a ship except for the U.S.S. Never Sail in boot camp😜. I would be shore based overseas for my entire naval career. Ok I digress! Are you familiar with the Cliffside Rv Park on Naval Air Station Whidbey Island? Oh where you met! So sweet! I guess we all meet somewhere. I met my husband when he got out of the Navy. I just got out of college and we had the same crazy idea to work for Disney World. He is from Long Island and I am a Virginian. Our meeting place is now a restaurant. It was mannequins at Pleasure Island. Doesn't that sound like a strip club? But no it was a Disney club not a strip club. Pure and wholesome but with alcohol. Lol! So not pure and wholesome and that's probably why it is gone.

Do you ever give ur cat human food as a treat? Tiger loves cheese 🧀 chicken and once a year gets a can of Tuna and i always asked the vet because Tuna can cause little stones in the kidney or if they are peeing. Just to let you know when you can asked a wellness veterinarian that alkaline water is the best for cats and dogs i forgot what it does for them because i have a bad memory but you can look it up i know a lot of people think that's weird to give your animals special stuff but you know what it's only me and if i can have my cat live a long life so far he's 17 and he was just diagnosed with thyroid and it broke my heart because i almost lost him this year in May but he's doing a little better now. Does ur cat have any medical condition and if so how do u deal with getting meds since u are traveling to different places?
