First listened in Sikkim, from our car. Couldn't find the name of mantra. Ater a few years, I suddenly heard it again at a small tea stall in Yuksome. This time didn't loose the chance to get the name of the mantra. Now I listen to it regularly, especially when my mind is too much scattered. It has such a soothing power.

This aspirational prayer was composed by famous Tibetan Lama Karma Chakme in 18th century inbEadyern Tibetan. Devotee is praying to Amitabha Buddha so that he can born in Dewachen (Sukha Vati) aka heaven where Amitabha Buddha recide. བདེ་བ་ཅན་ (Dewachen) is a Tibetan word that means "realm of perfect bliss". It is the name of the pure land of the Buddha Amitabha, where beings are free from suffering and can easily achieve enlightenment. Dewachen is often depicted as a beautiful and radiant land, with lush gardens, sparkling rivers, and majestic mountains. It is also said to be inhabited by celestial beings, such as bodhisattvas and dakinis. In Mahayana Buddhism, it is believed that beings can be reborn in Dewachen through the practice of Pure Land Buddhism. This practice involves chanting the name of Amitabha Buddha and cultivating faith in his pure land. The Dewachen Prayer is a popular prayer that is chanted by Tibetan Buddhists to invoke the blessings of Amitabha Buddha and Dewachen. May all beings be reborn in Dewachen and attain complete Buddhahood!
