Like always DRX seems like a different team from top to bottom against FPX. And FPX never fails to choke against DRX. DRX was the main obstacle for FPX in this tournament and they were unable to overcome it. Hope DRX can perform in similar way against Optic too or else it'll be a bummer.

If you rewatched this match up last Masters event where FPX eliminated DRX on the highlight uploads I said on my comment that DRX just needs to keep their composure when they’re losing rounds because they tend to crumble before and lose their mental. Right now ending the year finishing atleast top 3 is a huge improvement after being expected by fans to always be a “group stage” team. Mako is insane as always and everybody stepped up from DRX, people really just don’t expect from DRX before because they keep repeating their mistakes but now they’re taking notes of it. Hope they lift up the trophy after all the grind and always being the representative of KR region.

I don’t really get why angel is their IGL, guy was an average role player in CS, and just not consistent on his aim. Yeah his calls are sometimes good but how can you expect to win if you atleast can’t kill or help your teammates by eliminating some enemies at all.

They haven’t broke the curse yet but they’re slowly getting there. Finishing atleast top 3 in this event already is a huge improvement from them after being expected as a team that just shines on group stage and crumble on playoffs. They’ll break it once they lift up this years champions trophy. Still their grind on the pro competetive scene from the start up to now is a huge hats off from them. I always believe that they are a dangerous team when DRX was still Vision Strikers. Hopefully this Champions it will be their year.
