It was confirmed that X-Set never requested a replay. Players mentioned the bug to tournament staff, which is 100% fair, but it was ultimately Riot's decision to make them replay the final round. Not a good decision by any means, but we shouldn't be mad at X-Set.

Round 24, when the score between fpx and xset was 12-11, xset ayrin's kj turrent bugged which was a big factor in leading to xset losing the round. so riot devs asked both the teams to replay round 24 and in the 2nd round 24, xset won resulting in overtime. And they lost in overtime 3, so basically xset were sent home twice in a single match lol

If some of you dun know, when 11-12 3 v 2 retake in a ascent. Fpx playing retake, both fpx play retake from garden and kinda do jiggle peek from there. But the turret kinda shot the garden once and rest on heaven which make xset got a wrong information which lead to high potential impact on xset losing the round thus fpx win the match. later riot decide to replay the 11-12 round, they go to 12-12, go to ot and fpx still win the match with 14-16. FPX's main obstacle is DRX. It seems like DRX gets some mojo while facing FPX or PRX. If FPX can overcome it, it’s very likely that they are taking the whole thing again. DRX is inconsistent and too emotional. They can beat LOUD but with their usual performance it’s hard to say that they will beat Optic. Optic seems like the most consistent team in this tournament (thanks to Yay.They should give him a raise.lol) & FPX is the team with highest resilience. XSET performed really well but their journey would've ended in top 4 anyhow.

The bug is that the Turret wasn't supposed to detect in the tree in the first place since it was positioned for Heaven. By the time the turret detects, it will automatically put into the mind that someone is in Heaven. This is a comment from not even a KJ main and a gold rank player.
