do we have to write .001 with the dot? I know this is a stupid question but why not. And for converting 0.125 to Binary do we keep multiplying by 2 until we get 1 and stop there??

Yes , you have to write the dot otherwise it will represent 1 in binary and the second answer is you have to multiply untill you get 1 before the dot(point), Like for 0.0625 the binary form will be 0.0001

Nahi, jab tak abka value 0 ya phir 1 aata rahega tab tak aapko multiply karna padega kyu ki binary ka base 2 hai yani 0 and 1. Tho agar aap dekhe last mai jo number hai woh 1.000 hai agar aap use phir se multiply karenge 2 se tho answer hoga 2 jo galat hai kyuki binary mai 0 and 1 ke alava koi aur number aa nahi saktha :)
