So interesting! My test results were very similar to this patients however under the Antibiotic Resistant Genes, my results said N/A. Does this mean I'm not resistant at all to any of those antibiotics? Also, my report did not show a section below that for Universal Microbiota Resistance Genes. Just wondering if it was left off for some reason.

I have N/A on my report in the H. pylori and page 5 with the Antibiotic Resistance Genes. I don't have the Universal Microbiota Resistance Genes either. Like you, I'd like to know what it means.

Not sure if this is too late but YES absolutely. You will need to take yeast based probiotics (Florestor for example). Increase your intake of fruit and veggies and reduce your fat and protein intake while on the antibiotics. Of course no alcohol or smoking and NO fast food, spicy, greasy in other words; if you want to get better, don’t go out to restaurants or take out food. Eat at home and when done with your antibiotics, spend a few weeks continuing your diet. Trust me, it works!

If you have no antibiotic resistance would 7 days be enough. I’m not sure if it would be good to do the 14 for gastritis

My understanding was either PPI and antibiotics OR antibacterial (mastica) with HCl. Realizing this is 3 years ago, did new science emerge or would you still stick with enzymes w/o HCl? TIA! :)

I've been suffering since 2019 with no relief of constant antibiotics. They did a culture and found that tetracycline 4 x daily and ammocillin 2 x 3 times daily. I've been on this regimine for a year continuously but still test postive. My family has tested negative.

I had H Pylori 2 years ago. It was treated and I began to feel better. Then, I met my new boyfriend, and started slowly feeling sick again. Same symptoms I had 2 years ago. So I told him to get tested and sure enough he has H Pylori. Now, I thought for sure I must have it, because the symptoms are unmistakably the same as they were 2 years ago, but when I got 2 stool tests done, they BOTH came back negative. So now I'm puzzled. I just finished getting an endoscopy done and are awaiting the biopsy results. But let me ask you, do you think it's possible to have 2 false negatives for those stool tests, but still have H Pylori present in my body? Because I am almost 100% certain I have H Pylori from my boyfriend, seeing as my symptoms are the exact same. If the biopsy results show negative, what should I do? They're saying it could be just stress, but the brain fog, the constant gnawing hunger, the constant strong belching, the chest tightness and shortness of breath, the premature heartbeats I get after I digest a meal, the extreme fatigue, and overall chest discomfort cannot be just from stress, because I'm not even that stressed. It happened ever since I became intimate with my boyfriend who has H Pylori, so I am desperate for answers and wish the doctors could just give me the antibiotics I took 2 years ago, to just rid me of what I think I have. What is your opinion?

Hi. There are naturopaths that use alternative treatments, like mastic gum, that some practitioners use to treat H. pylori. Please contact your practitioner for a treatment protocol. Treatment would depend on your test results, how prolific the infection is, and if virulence factors are involved.

H. pylori is an opportunistic bacteria and very difficult to remove. Treatment is more likely to keep levels under control. I hope you have found a functional medicine provider by now. I am going through education and about to start helping my husband with GERD symptoms after two rounds of antibiotics were not successful.
