The support that came before this batch was somewhat underwhelming, but glad to see that konami did their homework with this batch of GBs. Great video!

It was underwhelming at the time because it didn't really play well with the other Glad Beasts that came before it. But if you notice, most of the current deck profiles featuring this latest round of support has a lot of the last wave of support in them. This wave did a really nice job of bridging what the last wave was trying to do and the prior Gladiator Beast staples such as Darius, Equeste, and Bestiari.

Useful tip: Attorix (the one that copies level/name) sends as cost, so it will trigger even if summoned by Darius, although it won't copy name/level, it's useful if you need extra fodder for Claudius

I've thought about the design for a "Gladiator Beast" card, and I think it's very balanced. It adds a bit of stability to the deck, so here’s the effect: Astradarus Gladiator Beast Beast-Warrior / Level 3 / Light 1000 ATK / 1000 DEF Version (GOOD Extender) At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card has battled: you can shuffle this card into the Deck; Special Summon 1 "Gladiator Beast" monster (except "Astradarus, Gladiator Beast") from your Deck. You can only use each of the following effects of "Astradarus, Gladiator Beast" once per turn: When a "Gladiator Beast" monster is Normal Summoned to your field: you can reveal this card and Special Summon a "Gladiator Beast" monster from your hand. At the end of the turn, if you used this effect, take 1000 damage. If this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a "Gladiator Beast" monster, the owner of this card gains 1000 LP. Nb:You can Special Summon any Gladiator Beast from your hand, including itself. This will replace "Teste Tiger." The problem with "Gladiator Beasts" is they don’t Special Summon easily when they're alone, so we need another "Gladiator Beast" that can Special Summon itself. If you don’t have "Magister, Gladiator Beast" in hand, you’re stuck, but with 1 "Equeste, Gladiator Beast" and my new "Astradarus, Gladiator Beast," you can have two monsters on your field without interruption. It’s not Broken , but it adds stability, especially when you don’t draw the best starters. The consistency is good and the primordial cards are there to bait early interruptions as well as act as extender and their own disruption. With Magister, Flavius Arena, Proving Ground and Tremors openly godly or with access to godly is consistent because any 1 of them can get you well into the combo

aqui tenemos que nunca debe pensar que un deck esta muerto por que no tenga soporte el deck bestia gladiador es un deck cada vez que regresa viene mas fuerte y peligroso que antes por que doble battle phase,ya dejarte un campo de full negadores y hasta rompe campo este deck directamente si entra al meta es directamente para volverse tier 0 otra vez como en el pasado directamente ya que siempre vuelve con arma peligroso

uhm....heraklinos+chariot came with the first wave of gbs, and domitianus the second. They, technially always were a negate combo deck, with a decently strong focus on battling. Plus, almost all modern decks these days all do focus on putting on a large/powerful board, right?
