What does the last screen order mean, early / late game high cost cards?

For 8 costers, they are all good, it is just a priority list of which to buy at which stage of the game

Yep. These are mostly screen grabs from old videos. Some of the ratings, I'd definitely need to adjust. But generally holds up well. You have to talk about swordmaster! It affects the cards you buy!

Surprised that in the swordmaster part there was not so much discussion on reveal vs play effects. When you get early swordmaster, play effects become more important while strong reveal effects become more important with late swordmaster.

I think the most important on play effect was talked about, faction access. This is the crux of on play. because it is just half a point for each action

I prefer to trash dagger then reconnaissance because one liaison replaces both of those agent icons to keep my distribution consistent. But like everything, it depends.

The comment about Selective Breeding being expensive fits in with how I've seen you play. I value this space perhaps higher than I should, but I love trashing (*cough* Dominion...). My logic is 2 spice is cheaper than 2 water (research station), and the long-term benefit is stronger (1 trash is better than a card draw for deck cycling). To top it off, you get half a point. I am much more thoughtful about when I visit these days, although i feel I am still usually its most ardent supporter.

I think you also have to realise that it is a premium spot late in the game, going there early kinda makes going there late bad, cause you only do kinda want to visit bene twice in most games

Amazing comprehensive guide! Just a question? Did you try to look for some different free to use music from the youtube tool? Maybe they could add some more variety. They are free and you can just straight use them. But maybe you prefer your own personal music

That's a double edge sword card, can be both good and bad. If you can delete it it's great(Ermand or cull intrigue) , also Helena benefits more from it because she can't be denied fron research station. Sometimes it's free water if you buy it before last round and never gonna draw it. But this card can also mess up your turn since it has no access/persuasion.

Don’t Spice Must Flow cards worsen your card draw options towards the end game? I mean, if 2 of your 5 cards you draw in round 8-10 are Spice Must Flow cards, doesn’t that hurt your ability to win the game?

Yes, Spice must Flow being in your deck effectively gives you one less card draw whenever you hit it (ignoring the spice on reveal.) But it gives you a victory point, which is how you win the game. Don’t buy them super early and you’ll be fine…if you have enough spice must flow in your deck by the end of the game that it’s a real issue, you’ve either already won or invested too early

well, points help you win the game. When its round 5-7, maybe you draw into them once or none at all

Games rarely go past round 7, unless you play epic mode or some home rule. Usually buying at least 1-3 worms is crucial to hit 10+ VP.
