It’s this content from you that convinced me to invest in this deck, I’ve caught the ‘Duality’ Marketing, that’s focusing on this and the ‘Shadow’ deck…I doubt I would actually use these decks, I Love the artwork on the ‘Clarity ‘ cards (Front and Back)…it’s just a really useful item to have in my collection as a prop that illustrates my interest in Cartomancy - Then I pull out the ‘Deck of Fortune’ and Deliver that ‘Effect’ on my victim…lol…You should really think about whether a book project is worth your time David, I find your contribution and content on here ‘Invaluable’, if a book was available…maybe even as an idea to invest in like a kickstarter project…I’d donate to it…Keep up the Great Work..!

I was initially told not to do reading for oneself and that you should never ask the person being read what their question is. Only for them to think of the question when splitting the deck. Thoughts?

Jonathan dee has related the card with lenormand system which dilutes the essence of playing cards interpretations . Your meanings sounded better than Dee’s book.

Have you seen the Grimaud deck of cards, with the meanings of each card and how they are influenced by other cards, on each card? I can not find out how to use them.

It would be an awesome deck but some cards meaning are mixed up in my opinion. Clubs And Spade are switched, I have a hard time thinking Spade could be the air element. Look at the Ace of Spade, it's the spine all of cards, the 1st cards of All cards, it's the beginning, everything start at the Ace of Spade. How can the Ace of Spade can be of the Air element, the air element is Volatile, it's thoughts, it changes all the time, it's not stable, it's changeable, mutable. Also look at the shape of the spade symbol vs the Club symbol. One looked like 3 different forms, the other look like 1 thing. Aries is fire, the 1st sign of the zodiac, Gemini is the 3rd sign of the zodiac (air element). The Ace can also be associated with the Sun as it's the First biggest thing in our system. Clubs seems to represent leaves, one french name for clubs directly refer to leaves, in their natural state leaves move from the wind, the air, it creates movement, changes, noise. The Ace of Spade represents the "I", "I Am", see how the Ace of Spade is bigger that the other cards in every deck, because it is the Soul, the "I", the birth, the consciousness, the Sun, the 1st, that's why it's so big in almost every deck. It's still a great deck that would still work for cartomancy though.

Thanks for your reviews, they are great, maybe you could do a review of this deck: aylabyingrid.com/spades/ . It's a complete Tarot deck so even Tarot reader can use it if they want to but the first purpose of this deck is to be used as a 52 card deck for Cartomancy. It's not 100% plastic card though unfortunately. I use this deck for my card reading though I recently started to want more durable cards so I end searching on internet for playing cards for cartomancy. So in my search for good cards I ended up watching a lot of your videos.

I forgot to say for the comparison from cards to zodiac sign we should look at the 4 cardinal Sign elements. 1st cardinal point Aries Fire (spade is the first suit), 2nd Cardinal point Cancer Water (heart is the second suit as it's 2 different forms), 3rd cardinal point Libra air (Club is the 3rd suit as it's 3 different forms), 4th cardinal point Capricorn earth (Diamond is the 4th suit as it has 4 angles).

but why they choose this one and not another card for it, they also use this card I heard in a war to appear more fearless or something like that, this card has a special meaning I think, and it's different from the other ace, it's more powerful. If you are attune to your feelings you should feel it while holding the card, then compare it to the Ace of heart, it's a very different feeling. The 2 of heart is the next special card actually but it's less known, in old tarot deck they wrote special stuff on it as it's the "love/sex" card.

Nice. But now they just look like your standard tarot. And who's finger print? Is it just a copyedited reprint..... Will it affect the readings if the cards have been associated by another's fingerprint

@@magicorthodoxy 🤷🏻 I suppose its just the over use of pictograms or the unnecessary use of art on the cards even with the pip cards. However, I will say you're video did reminded me to do a search for authentic court cards, other than the typical kind you pick up in a local gas station. Prince Karte No. 402 😩nearly impossible to find so far. But I'm still searching. But there is a company I located through research that carries a classic hand painted standard version. Uusi standard playing cards have the original court images -hand painted and I think they simple, beautiful and true without the overuse of characters. I'm sure many may like ideogram that conveys a meaning through some form of pictorial resemblance, plus the predeposited words are a bit much for my taste. In cartomancy the less interference pushed into a reading the better for the one needing the message to unfold.
