Deck Walkthrough Druid Plant Oracle, Trim & Reading

About the garlic in this deck: It's a different one than the garlic you would normally use in the kitchen. This garlic is also known as wood garlic or bear garlic (Baerlauch in German), because it is said that the bear eats this plant in spring right after hibernation to get fresh energy, vitamins and nutrients. It also jumpstarts the digestive system. We are lucky to find bear garlic in the woods here in spring when the ground is entirely covered with it. And you can smell it, but it is not that strong and unpleasant scent like its cousin the normal garlic tend to have. The whole wood just smells delicious and I harvest it every spring and make it into delicious pestos. The buds you can preseve like olives or capers. Yum!!! You did a great job on trimming them. I really have to finally have to pluck up courage and trim my decks too. The actual size is very unpractical.

This deck seems incredible, I will definitely have to add it to my already long wishlist. Yes, I also ate clovers as kid. :D Clover and lilac. Pioneering plants are plants, that can easily spread on poor quality soils, or in places that are for any reasons plantless (eg. cause of winds or after fires). They can help other plants to spread either by fertilizing soil or simply covering soil from heat or wind, so other plants can grow. And as to trimming, I have a problem with those two oracle decks, cause they look stunning without borders, but on the other hand I adore that painted frame.

I'm 100% sure that Valerian is on the right and Roseroot (strangely its flowers are yellow) on the left. Also, I'm not sure about the guardian trees, but it seems to me that Elder trees usually have those small separate bunches of flowers whereas Hawthorn trees tend to have small flowers all over the tree, so I'd hazard a guess that Hawthorn is on the right and Elder is on the left.

Oh Kelly you got it!!! 😁 I'm so glad you have them all now! I think your idea of putting the two together is brilliant. The guardian card has the elder on the left and the hawthorn on the right. Also, you did pronounce Ceridwen right the first time, the 'c' is pronounced as in "car", it is a Welsh girls name. I recently bought a corner rounder and a trimmer to do a "border-ectomy" on my decks lol, I just hope I don't make a mess of them - eek!!!

+zephyr2010ac I was going to say the same thing - I live in England and was very nearly called Ceridwen, until my parents realised I'd constantly have people pronouncing it wrong! Lovely video, and I now desperately want this deck for possible incorporation into spellwork, as I'm disabled and can't get hold of/properly store many plants and so on, I bet this deck could be used as a substitute for many of them...

Megan Kohtz I spent a lot on my Plant oracle deck but I like how you trimmed them. My question is when you trimmed the Oracle Deck did you lose any of the side pieces that maybe Worthington added to make the card express meaning better? I guess my question is did you lose a lot of the landscape and beautiful ness of the original non trimmed deck? I love your vids by the way! ❤️

I just got the Wildwood Tarot and absolutely love it! But I'm not sure about the card stock with this publisher, they're called Welbeck and its very glossy and slippery and leaves fingerprints easily, was wondering if you can advise whether any of the other publishers would be better quality stock or maybe older versions? +The Truth in Story I'm in Europe.. I searched amazon.com, amazon.uk, bookdepository.. There are some available on ebay, but the prices are ridiculous, over 100 euro.. I managed to find some relatively affordable Druid Plant decks, but both sellers are in Australia and don't ship to Sweden :/ Well, maybe it's the universe telling me to STOP THE DECK SPREE, haha. Oh, and I was mistaken - it's the Wildwood Tarot and Druid Plants that are not available any longer. Managed to purchase the Animal deck at least!

Hello Linh, I think that oracle cards CAN help with prophecy if by prophecy you future casting, it depends on how you see looking into the future and whether the cards help you or not, the cards themselves, in my opinion, don’t have anything to them, it’s what is in you and how you use them that matter :)
