Deckchairs Overboard were an Australian pop music band based which formed in 1982 and disbanded in 1985. The early line-up featured Ken Campbell on vocals, guitar, and drums; John Clifforth on vocals, guitar, and keyboards; Paul Hester on drums (later of Split Enz and Crowded House); and Cathy McQuade on bass guitar and vocals. They had developed from Melbourne-based Cheks (1980-1982) with the addition of McQuade

This video was done at Stranded, beneath Sydney's Strand Arcade and currently taken up by JB HiFi. In the early 80s Stranded was Sydney's hottest nightclub, a Mecca for those in the new romantic and mod subcultures. It was common to see there mingling in the crowd visiting international stars like David Bowie and Duran Duran.
