Hi. Did you have to tone down the pressure when using your flat surface cleaner on this decking? Great results 👏
@rayleighjetwashing Жыл бұрын
Hi mate cheers and yes I did. Go easy on wood. Otherwise it splinters.

@@rayleighjetwashing how do you tone down the pressure on the surface cleaner
@rayleighjetwashing Жыл бұрын
@Clint Saines hi I tone it down on the pressure washer not the surface cleaner itself. Just turn the pressure down and monitor it on the pressure gauge
@clintsaines9274 Жыл бұрын

Hi , did a decking the other day. When I left it was gleaming like yours. Few days later dried with a white residue look to it. Waiting for it to dry out properly. Any ideas how to solve it. Have read I might have lifted up tiny fibers in the wood. Pressure washed and used hypo. Thanks
@rayleighjetwashing Жыл бұрын
Hi mate, it's possible that perhaps the pressure was a too high. The wood has been a little too far stipped back if you know what I mean. Very hard to tell without seeing it mate I'm afraid.

Nice job! I wish people knew enough to install grooved planks correctly. The grooves should be on the bottom.

You know, I've heard this so many times before... I don't think I've ever come across decking that is flat side up. Haha

Hope you do not mind me asking ? What is it you spray on the decking after the jet washing process, ?? And what is it for or what is it doing? Many thanks Les.
@rayleighjetwashing Жыл бұрын
Hi its called hypo, it kills organic growth. Algae as an example. You may notice a change in the wood colour in the video. It's removed a lot of the green. Hope that helps 👍

@Rayleigh Jet Washing yes it does and thank you.

Hi mate, for softwood personally I'd use about 2-3%. Hope that helps mate 👍

I thought you couldn't use hypo on wood... ?
@rayleighjetwashing5 ай бұрын
Says who?
@spencerj14135 ай бұрын
@rayleighjetwashing because of what it does. Furs the wood up and bleaches the wood.

2 strikes. Strike 1, you left the green mold on the fences. Strike 2, calling someone a freeloader is extremely offensive.
@rayleighjetwashing Жыл бұрын
Hi Karen, Wow! Was I there to clean the fences or the decking? I'm pretty sure I was there to clean the decking... did you notice I also didn't cut the grass or paint the walls??? I'm such a cowboy 🤠... by the way what happens at strike 3? Do I win a prize?
