Lots of good debate on how to attract applicants into there programs , however the most important problem is not addressed …. Jobs jobs jobs, who would want to apply to a program when the job market is not that great. Discussion should be emphasized about increasing jobs in this field, there should be more open discussion on the future of this profession, on how technology is going to impact the future of this skill, when there is enough job opportunities the number and quality of applicants increases. Please don’t promote or encourage students to fill your programs and put young doctors careers in jeopardy. I would suggest to decrease the programs so that everyone who completes has a decent job.
