The problem I have as a double jabbed person, is this going to be a train that is impossible to get off? I'm not comfortable with having these vaccines every 6 months for, well forever. I also have had some cardiac issues after second dose, and probably getting off the vaccine train at this point. I regret getting it as a young guy, as basically I catch it anyway after 6 months, and all I have to show are weird cardiac POTS like symptoms now. My brother caught covid unvaccinated and for him he said it was the easiest virus he's ever beaten, lost his taste for a week, that was it.

Unfortunately, POTS isn’t something you can “detox your body from”. If you started having cardiac adverse reactions, go with what your gut is telling you and DO NOT get anymore shots. This is the only “vaccine” (its actually gene therapy) out of all the vaccines that has not gone through the rigorous YEARS of testing to get FDA approved. This has taken only 1 year. IMHO, I would never take this. However, in my case I am a healthy 35 yr old woman and has already gotten Covid naturally in October last year. I had mild symptoms. The worse part for me was I lost smell and taste for 6 weeks. I have been mask free since the beginning of the year (I live in FL) and have not caught it again (at least, I haven’t been sick since or had any symptoms) The same goes for my 3 children, husband and extended family as well. The Israel peer reviewed case study (largest case study ever) that was published 2 month back stated natural immunity was 27 times stronger fighting the virus versus the double vaccinated. I would link that case study here, but it will just censor my entire response.

Sorry this happened to you and thank you for sharing this info. Everybody should be able to make their own decision without coercion or threat of firing or loss of access to essential needs. We are living in crazy times and need to support each other rather than attacking like the administration is promoting. I won't give you medical advice other than tell you that I personally started using the recommended supplements to try to keep my immune system as fit as possible. I don't know if you are seeing the same reports of the 2nd wave of adverse effects. My county is experiencing a 20% increase in ER patients, reporting all kinds of infectious diseases that is not including covid. Could it be a coincidence or related to the millions of impoverished immigrants bringing in all kinds of diseases? But, the reports of heart attacks and strokes and blood related clotting is not being reported to VAERS or even related to their vaccination status. And no one appears to be documenting what appears to be weakened immune systems for so many vaccinated people.

@martin burrows to aspirate means to pull the plunger back to ensure the tip of the needle is not resting inside a blood vessel. This ensures the med is injected into the tissue. In the past 25+ years I have given hundred and maybe thousands of IM injections (intramuscular). Only once have I had a blood return... But it did happen. Had the med I was injecting been administered directly into the blood stream it could cause problems. The muscle releases the med or vaccine slowly.

Regarding the nurse in Canada that told the patient that aspirating the needle increases chances of an embolism, while also saying there's no chance of the shot hitting a blood vessel: Wasn't that a self-contradicting statement? If it were possible for aspirating a needle to cause an embolism, which it probably isn't, wouldn't that only be possible in a case where you did hit a blood vessel, since an embolism consists of air or other foreign substance floating around inside a blood vessel?

Same here ,35 years but still working. If a patients requests an aspiration there’s no risk in doing so. As a seasoned nurse, I aspirate always. I think the studies are looking at 18 billion injections given yearly and not enough patients dying or receiving life threatening complications to make it matter. They also consider it time consuming. To me every life matters and if it means taking a few seconds or minutes longer to inject, my goodness I’ll do it! I didn’t train to become a nurse to cut corners. I had excellent training in the 80s when patient care was quality care. It’s unfortunate to see protocols change because procedures are listed as too time consuming. From one RN to another, thank you for your service to healthcare. Remember back rubs or percussion? Believe it or not I will still give them if I feel necessary. A couple of minutes more with a patient can make a great difference not only for their health but their mental well being.

It really is, you can factually make the statement "a medical treatment will always carry the potential for both risks and benefits" and I don't think any doctor or scientists would disagree. Even fairly basic off the shelf or over the counter medication will come with a leaflet listing potential side effects, during medical treatments they ask you to sign consent forms that inform you of the risks and you sign it to prove you where given the opportunity to check them out. But if you link "a medical treatment will always carry the potential for both risks and benefits" with "a vaccine is a medical treatment", both of which are simple factual statements people either insult you and scream "anti science! Anti Vaxx!" and the media often silences anybody just wanting a discussion about the potential risks. That alone is a huge factor for the growing mistrust.

I’ve also done phlebotomy in years past and thought I was clear of blood vessels when injecting however I still aspirate just in case. thank goodness I did. We were taught in nursing school to ALWAYS aspirate with vaccines even though it is very unlikely that we would be in a blood vessel. The risk of injury from administration into circulation (one of the "rights" of medication administration) as opposed to intramuscularly was too great and pulling back causes very little if any extra pain and no extra damage.

The situation regarding aspiration is no different in NZ from what you have read in the emails. I had a very unpleasant experience getting my first vaccination; it was a large pop-up vaccination center, where the nurse repeatedly refused to aspirate. I stood my ground and eventually the supervisor came and correctly aspirated before giving the vaccination. To avoid a repeat situation I phoned several clinics before I was finally able to locate a place where they were happy to aspirate. It was a pleasure meeting with a nurse who was originally trained using the books written by Dr. John Campbell and who knew the science behind correct procedures. The take home from this is, stand your ground because it's your arm they are injecting into and your health which will suffer if they get it wrong.

I graduated in 1981, and over the thousands of injections given, I aspirated like breathing. I ran across about only a few medications like meds you give Z=track that you were directed not to aspirate. Now, the teaching literature says only need to aspirate when injecting the dorsal gluteal muscle due to a nearby vein. Apparently, they don't even do that now. I will admit that though trained and implemented, I never did hit a vein or drawback blood. I think these spike proteins are getting into or developing inside the blood vessels by some other route. I also think a vaccinated woman can affect her unborn child and her nursing child....and no there isn't enough literature to back me up yet.

This EXACT thing happened to an Air Force colleague of mine back in 1992. We were both headed overseas for our next assignments and had been directed to report to the hospital for our vaccines. I was headed to South Korea and he was headed for Greece. We worked in the same shop, so we rode over to the Base Hospital (Maxwell AFB) and checked in at the shot clinic about 7am and as it happened, they weren't busy and the two Techs who were there sat us side-by-side and proceeded to give us our Typhoid shots. I watched the Tech who gave me my shot stick the needle in my arm, pull back on the plunger (aspirate), gave it a moment, then she proceeded to push in the plunger. The other Tech did NOT aspirate the needle and proceeded to stick the needle in my colleague's arm and immediately pushed in the plunger. Fast Fwd about 4-5hrs, my colleague began not feeling well and he sent back to his quarters to rest. Around 1pm, he called back into the shop and was dry heaving, had a 103-degree fever, and was, of course, scared. He was admitted to the hospital and they began running tests and they told him he had Leukemia and eventually sent him to an off-base hospital that was better equipped to handle the situation. When I arrived at the hospital, I met with his Dr and he was dumbfounded at how my colleague had magically, out of the blue, contracted Leukemia. The Dr proceeded to ask very direct questions and wanted to know exactly what he/we had done that day. I recounted our actions and told him we had started off the day getting our Typhoid vaccines. Upon hearing that, the Dr immediately spun around and ran off back into the hospital. The Dr returned about 90mins later and stated that we had saved my colleague's life because had they not reacted when they did and treated him for Typhoid, he would have died. Instead of injecting the vaccine into the muscle where the body could detect it and safely build up antibodies to Typhoid and protect him; the Tech had injected it directly into his bloodstream where it immediately began to grow and develop far faster than his body could react. As a direct result of her negligence, he had developed full-blown Typhoid within a matter of hours and almost died. Aspirating post injecting, absolutely pointless because the damage has been. However, in the case of my colleague, had she aspirated after and realized what she had done, they could have responded and prevented a near-death experience.

Almost everytime I see them I go in explain my problem and they give me a sick note and maybe some medication but no explanation what I have. The last time I went was for a worrying chest pain I have. Without checking she said It because you smoke, I told her it started well before I started smoking. Her reply was exercise, I replied I was doing 1000km a week on my bike and a physical job. She said you will be ok. I exploded and finally she put me on to a pulmonologist. When you say "Janssen 92% to 3%; Moderna 91% to 64%; Pfizer 95% to 50%" are you meaning in protection from GETTING the virus or from MINIMISING the affects of secondary complications/illness? What is the drop in efficacy really about?
@linakeke
@linakeke 2 жыл бұрын
Those two things--"getting" the virus, and minimizing symptoms/severity--go together. It's unsustainable to live in such a way that a person avoids viruses entering their body forever. Eventually the day will come that you accidentally touch the corner of your eye with an unsanitized finger at a moment when whatever rapidly spreading virus happens to be lingering on that finger. For example. Eventually that day will come. Now the question is: will your immune system tackle it so easily that you never know you "got" it, or is your body's terrain so out of alignment and toxic that you experience total viral takeover and all the subsequent inflammation and various awful symptoms? The "efficacy" of a vaccine should refer to the vaccine's ability to enable one's immune system to tackle the live virus (more) quickly and effortlessly. That's my take, anyway. I hope I even understood your question correctly. 😆
@CapAdGroup
@CapAdGroup 2 жыл бұрын
When they initially released the vaccines all 3 used different metrics to describe “efficacy”. I amazed at how many people don't understand this. If you follow Dr Campbell here, he explains it very well in his videos, or you can read the clinical trial results that were published. In short, stated vaccine efficacy in the clinical trials was determined by number of positive tests amongst vaccinated participants vs control group. 95% efficacy means you are 20 times more likely to test positive for coronavirus without it. I interpret that to mean that it's 95% effective at preventing infection. The stared declines in efficacy are usually in terms of preventing infection, unless they qualify it as efficacy against symptomatic infection, severe infection, hospitalization, or death. These are all different things that can be studied and measured, so it's important to read carefully

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and over and expecting a different result. The vaccines are not as effective as advertised. There, I said it. 3% protection? That is terrible. Getting shots over and over and over again? Why does the MMR last a long time off of 1 dose and this one barely lasts? Perhaps it is because the MMR was properly studied and developed correctly with long term studies and this one was rushed off the production line with barely a lookover. And that is being antivax. Why does one work and another barely works at all? Why does one last and another stops working fast? Does this even work at all? Where is the proof that it does? Why should anyone "believe the science" when most of the people chanting that mantra ALSO think the scientific method is r-cist?

@jwarrior9986
@jwarrior9986 2 жыл бұрын
@@tracy3418 It typically takes about 7 years for a vaccine to undergo proper studies including effectiveness and long term side effects. The MMR, Polio, and other properly done vaccines went through the process, Most of those require 1 shot and their effectiveness is about 10 - 25 years. This vaccine was rushed through and we all know it. The vaccine wanes its effectiveness extraordinarily quickly for a vaccine. It does not compare well to any other vaccine. A vaccines' effectiveness should not wane this low within 6 months. Name another vaccine you need 2 booster shots a year to maintain. We have 2 shots based on experimental RNA methods that have not been used before. We have another one that is more traditional that doesn't seem to be effective. They were rushed through and not properly studied, there is no arguing that. Anyone saying that they reduce severe cases or give a certain level of protection...there is no conclusive study proving that to be the case. This hasn't even been around long enough to produce such a study. Early research into the effects are all over the map. You all want to rush to a conclusion that this works, but the science isn't there yet. It is staring you right in the face whether you want to acknowledge it or not. The effectiveness is just not there. You think Polio has no variants? If the polio vaccine was not stopping the spread of polio, it would not have been used or seen as an effective treatment. This isn't stopping the spread. People with the vaccine are getting sick. That flies in the face of everything we know about vaccines. Vaccines train your immune system to attack the virus so if you are exposed, your immune system attacks immediately and prevents it from gaining ground in your body. It doesn't matter if everyone is vaccinated if you are. Now if everyone is vaccinated, the spread stops 100% because there are no suitable hosts. Herd immunity is nice in that regard, but it isn't necessary to protect the individual. In this case, people who are vaccinated are getting sick with it. Badly. Colin Powell should never have died of COVID if he had the vaccine. Two of these vaccines are not targeting the virus. They are targeting the spike protein on the virus. They are tricking the body into making antibodies, but they are not training the immune system's T-cells to recognize and attack the virus. This is not a traditional vaccine. Just because I label something "vaccine" doesn't necessarily make it so. Silence the dissenters all you want. It does nothing to change reality. Why are fully vaccinated individuals getting sick and sometimes dying? Is the answer "SILENCE THE HERETIC?" We believe in science, but its clear most of us fell asleep in biology class. Knowing how vaccines are supposed to work, why are most people defending this half assed attempt at one when it shows it isn't working? Scientific consensus...by the scientists and researchers who work for the companies selling it? Look, every scientist thought Einstein was a stupid nut job until he was PROVEN right. Call me crazy all you want, nothing I have said here is untrue.

I, as an experienced veterinarian of 50 years, have never given an injection of anything without aspirating. The only exception are those medicines that are intended for intravenous administration. After being forced by my employer to get the shots, I relented and finally went to get my first jab. I asked the person who was going to give me the injection to both pinch the skin and aspirate before injecting the solution into my shoulder and her response was one of complete bewilderment, like I had asked her to go against all her training and that's when I realized she wasn't a nurse, the woman next to her who confirmed my registration information was, but not the one with the needle. She turned to the nurse and asked if she would do it and it seemed like a big to-do, like they were somehow infringing on their training by the government or something. So the nurse agreed and did it properly. Afterward, she said "just so you know, there are no blood vessels that can be punctured in that part of the shoulder. Some small capillaries but no veins." So either they don't understand how dangerous this can potentially be or they don't know their anatomy. I've OFTEN forced medical staff to do things my way, because it's my body after all, and they hate it, all of them hate being shaken out of their routine and being told what to do by a patient who knows what's going on even if he doesn't hold a medical doctor diploma. Don't give in! If they won't obey you, go elsewhere, raise hell, complain to their supervisor, whatever it takes, but do not let any medical staff impose their way on you if you are not ok with it. A nurse aspirating after the fact makes me feel so sad, as it indicates there is no understanding of why it is done. For years we were taught to aspirate (and it became second nature) and now never. I went on to a second career after nursing but I wonder what working nurses thought when the non-aspiration rule became the norm halfway through their careers. I actually did aspirate blood once and it completely surprised me so I know it does happen.

On a different note. My wife was a new grad nurse in Boston during the 70's. The doctor came in and wanted to talk to one of the other new grads. He had to emphasize to her that it was imperative to remove the wrapper from a suppository BEFORE she inserted it into the patient. Doing procedures in the right order are sometimes beneficial.

Hi Medina, the body does not keep immunity to all virus we ever got in our lives. That would be a complete waste, and it's simply not how it works. However, it keeps the memory and if the virus returns, that memory information is being activated. So, do not be overly alarmed by news such as efficacy dropping to 50 % or less. Besides, Johnson and Johnson is a failure, IMO. It becomes clear and clearer this 1 dose regimen is marketing only, and should be two doses like all the others.

Needle aspiration is the process of pulling back on the syringe plunger prior to injection. Its purported importance is to prevent accidental entry of the needle into a blood vessel, but there is no scientific evidence to support its need.
@erikavandiver2924
@erikavandiver2924 2 жыл бұрын
@@wpgspecb what scientific evidence is there that supports there is *no* need? Reasonably experienced IM injection personnel have experienced blood during aspiration prior to injection. Even if it is ‘unlikely’ wouldn’t it be better to be safe, rather than sorry? As someone with a body that has not read the anatomy books (multiple surgeries have necessitated doctors telling me afterwards “I’ve never seen XXX like that, so I had to do YYY”), it sounds much safer to aspirate to ensure absolutely no possibility of injecting into a blood vessel rather than an ‘unlikely’ chance. After all, aren’t the survival statistics for this virus something around 99% even for the most elderly patients, yet we’ve been forced into draconian measures and rushed vaccines. What’s the theoretical (and scientifically proven) disadvantage of aspirating?

The vastus lateralis and deltoid muscle sites do not contain large vessels that are within reach of the needle so aspiration is not necessary. Aspiration actually has no stats that show that it is even worth doing by the way. I do think that they should be at least in the know of aspiration though!

I got my third Pfizer shot yesterday. I told the person who was administering the shot that I wanted him to aspirate the syringe. He didn’t miss a beat: “If you want aspiration, that’t what I’ll do” and he confirmed he was doing so (before the injection) as he administered the shot. Easy-peasy. and now just think how all that happening on a larger scale to other people will effect the validly of the data about how people can be infected again after already getting it. i've yet to see one single case that is undeniably a person who definitely had covid, completely got over it, and then got it again. they have all been someone who was barely symptomatic after first, maybe didn't even have it and was just a false positive. and then again tested positive but barely had symptoms or none at all. that or someone had sever symptoms, got a bit better, got sent home, and then came back a short time later with symptoms gotten worse again, and they assume they got reinfected.... which when you think about how it can live for weeks on some surfaces that would mean absolutely everyone could be reinfecting themselves a few weeks after they got it... despite the fact their immunity will be the strongest possible immunity... but they catch it again? BS one more thing this pandemic has shown is how statistics outside of an extremely well controlled and monitored study can often be completely useless.
