first of all I love your declutter :) but I have question: I know you want to go cruilty free because of your changed attitude towards animal testing. I did the same - but now what I don't understand (and I don't mean it offensive), why do you get rid of stuff that you like (i.e. the Dior highlighter). You already spent money on it, the animals already suffered for it. I feel like I want to use up even noncruilty free products to make sure that the animals have not suffered for nothing you know what I mean. I already made the bad decision of buying it and supporting such a brand, but at least I can make sure I use it up and don't waste it, wasting it would even be worse for me because then the animals suffered for nothing?

Hey babe! I completely understand where you are coming from. Thank you for taking the time to watch my videos & to comment! :) I definitely make sure that any makeup I declutter gets passed along to family and/or friends OR if it is like new, I post it on my Poshmark. If no one in my life (or on posh) wants to take the item, I do end up keeping it because I definitely agree that letting the product goes to waste means that the animal suffered for nothing. I am still on my path to being 100% cruelty free, and I really do appreciate you sharing your view from a different perspective ❤️ Have a great day! xo

that is a good way of dealing with it :) for me it is not really an option I am not from the US I am from Austria and something like Poshmark does not really exist (yet - at least I hope so :D) so I end up either giving it to friends if I don't like it or just power through and use it up to the best of my possibilities before it goes bad

@@jxmebeauty Strictly speaking they can because powder products can grow mold if you don't sanitize them every six months. It's just because bacteria from our faces get on the products through cross contamination. But powder products have a way longer life period than what's put on the back. Those expiration dates are required for health reasons. I sound like a know it all, but I've had powder products be fine for years. Sorry for the long comment! XD Looooooove that you're cruelty free!

Anthonette Cousar Not cool to beg. Work hard and replace your makeup. Then insure it under home contents insurance. We all go through hard times...doesn’t mean you should ask strangers for handouts.
