I think it looks beautiful. I would style the shelves with books, plants and candles and obviously kids bits. I have just watched this for the second time as it was so enjoyable. Well done you, the room looks lovely. I would advise getting a wipeable cloth on the table! Even though mine are grown or teenagers as long as you get nice looking cloth wipeable are really handy, especially when your children are little x

Wow love that table smart man. Looks beautiful in your dinning room. Dog's really aren't surpose to pee on your porch they are to do that in yard it may just of been to cold for him. Also things are giong well here. I have a break from school until next week. And yes, i have started spring cleaning. I took 4 bags of clostes and shoes, a box with like 100 hangers, a record player, a toilet paper roller, and a bunch of artwork to the Good will today. I also have 4 bags of clothes to send to thredup for consignment. I need to get my steam shot out and do my windows SO badly. But slowy but surely I will get that spring cleaning done. Today is going to be trimming back a couple bushes in my yard and starting to prepare the outdoors for spring. It's gonna be long process. Our yard is a HOT mess.

great job cleaning. you husband did a nice job on the table. check the top of your windows to see if there are tabs on each side. if so your windows will fold inside for easy cleaning on the outside.

Wow husband is very talented the table came out beautifully and you are superwoman. I forget you have two such small children around all the time and this transformation felt like Christmas morning to me. I was so thrilled to see the dining room and how lovely it turned out!! You have gotten so much done in your house in such a relatively short time. And you really are on a kick now with the babies coming. I am wondering what month they are due. My guest room/office is a storage catchall. It's stuff that doesn't have a home. Some stuff goes into another closet but that's where the attic is so when workers come I have to keep moving it so I just keep it in the guest room. It's not horrible but I'd like it to look decluttered.

Omg such a cute puppy! How's training going? :D Me and my partner put insulation materiel and parts of ceiling in our house today, we got pretty far. But we also have the dumping ground room XD which is way worse and I'm trying to find the motivation. Problem is that we don't have enough storage yet. We bought a fixer upper and we are trying to do most of it ourselves. But I unfortunately had a burnout so everything is going a bit slower + partner has a new fulltime job ... you know how life sometimes goes haha. You made a ton of progress with the house :D

Hi and thank you, the Puppy is doing great, I teach him commands whenever I get a minute. I definitely hear you about burnout and no motivation!! Projects, especially big ones, take time, and on camera it looks fast but it takes days in real life. So, yes, that's life and a burnout happens with everybody. I just had to take time off myself. Fixer -upper sounds extremely exciting! I always wanted to may be do something like that one day, but my season is different right now. I hope you will get there eventually and will not believe you pulled it off!

That is a wonderful room. The windows will be a great place to start your seedlings. Set the folding table up in front of them and you’ll have lots of temporary space. Just remember that as your babies grow it will be more difficult for you to stoop and bend. Keep your plans on the smaller side for this year and your dreams for next year can be more extensive. 😊.

I hope I don't sound rude by asking this. I'm not from the US so I don't know a lot of your customs that much. You said that your dog prefers to pee on the porch. Is it more common in the US to just let your dogs out in the garden to do their business, rather than take them on a walk to do their business? Where I live we always take our dogs on walks outside of our properties. Usually about 2-3 shorter walks and one longer walk. On the longer walk we also try to get some play time or activation of some kind. I sometimes practice clicker training on walks (Positive reinforcement) to help my dog learn good behavior and to motivate my dog. That way they'll get more relaxed at home, and I can prevent the dog from doing their business in the wrong places. Sometimes accidents happen of course. :)

Nothing good comes out of dollar stores, here in the UK we have Poundland, full of cheap tat that all ends up being decluttered. All the money wasted in these stores is better spent on quality items. Sorry, don't mean to sound judgemental, love your new house, it has good bones. 🥰
