Declutter Your Life: Say Goodbye to Paper Chaos

Appreciate this. My beloved husband of 45 years died last month & is with the Lord now. I am now going through the papers. It’s a lot. But I have a goal in mind. I’m the minimalist- he always stressed about letting go of stuff- he let me clear out and simplify the other life categories but papers and finances were his areas. I was fine with that but now it’s very difficult finding the essentials in the horizontal sedimentary piles. That worked for him. The financial side could use a little work to simplify & streamline but I cleared off the last debt (car) on Wednesday. He has a great printer scanner in the office and I bought a shredder many decades ago when I homeschooled our kids. Still working well! I want to get it all in the cloud as you’ve done leaving the essential physical documents in a grab and go kit. 2 reasons- it’ll be easier for our kids eventually when I go to the Lord - and we live in a fire prone area. Bug out kits are a summertime essential. Thank you for one of the clearest easiest guides for dealing with paper clutter!❤
