Pillows and blankets can usually go to pet shelters 💕 as well, little libraries are great to donate and swap books ☺️

Good on you for getting the stuff out of your home! It really is hard. Much like returning library audiobooks or recycling bottles LOL. I'm looking forward to seeing your doorway clear. Kisses to your gorgeous cats.

I really can relate to the struggle that the last step of decluttering meant for you. I really like your videos and hope you continue to make many more!

🎉 Congratulations and Happy New Year! This was the perfect "Day 12"! So smart to make this your final decluttering day - I am very guilty of decluttering and then just having the bags and boxes sitting in my basement for 1...2+ years 😅

I'm guilty of that too! 😂 happy new year!

I gave warm clothes to our Food Pantry. Some clothing, mugs, and pots and pans went to Goodwill. Craft items were tossed, recycled, or passed to other crafters. Towels, blankets, and stained clothing went to the animal shelter. Tina, Al's wife

Getting all that stuff out the door is a CHORE and the least fun part! I totally get it 😂 but so satisfying once it’s all gone from your life forever haha

It gave me a strange amount of joy to be the 12th Like on the 12th day of decluttering ! 🏁 Charlie didn't care about matching at all. I spent hours going through my essential oil collection this weekend. It was disappointing because, even though I decluttered approximately 50 bottles, it didn't make that much of a difference and it's not like they'd even come close to filling a donation box like 50 articles of clothing would. It's never a total waste of time or a fail though... all the bottles and holders are dusted, I have a better idea of what I have, and it's only the ones that I enjoy smelling now.

I've been decluttering my clothes slowly over the last couple weeks and got rid of 4 bags of pants and shorts since i hadn't decluttered those before, but struggling with shirts since i've decluttered those before and depending on my stress level i alternate between sizes.

Hey! I’ve looked into this a bit too and I’m pretty sure they technically down cycle it into insulation and other materials. The different fibers in garments are usually too hard to separate for anyone! It’s still much better than going to landfill :)

When you donate clothing or any items, please consider any independent or smaller thrift stores instead of Goodwill! The independent/smaller thrift stores, a lot of times donate monies collected from their sales to good causes. Goodwill doesn’t do anything like that! Please take a little more time to research that option instead of going with the easiest.

@@thisismacktryingi think something to consider is your needs & mental health throughout the process. We don't have to make things hard on ourselves. That's what sometimes stops our positive progress. ❤
