Have you tried if all those pens still work (really no point in keeping any that don't) ? Also, maybe you could toss most scissors.

Get rid of all but 2-3 pens. You'll never use all those. It's 2020, people don't have to write much anymore: we've got keypads on phones and laptops.

One of the containers should be empty so that you can toss things in when you’re in a hurry and then only have to clean that one particular drawer once a week

Haha that’s what I thought. The drawer looks a lot better organised but that’s a lot of multiple same items (most scissors and pens will never get used). Maybe it’s just because I’m becoming a minimalist that’s why I’ve noticed that aha

I usually don’t comment on these kind of videos, but I really wanted to tell you how much I appreciate this one! This is the first time I came across your channel and have subscribed as soon as it ended. I searched ‘junk drawer organizing’ into KZbin and went through about five videos before I found yours. I hate the vids with the misleading title, where they just throw in words that aren’t relevant so that it will come up in more searches. And the five minutes intro for a 10 min video where they do all the fake pleasantries and then beg for likes and subscribes lol. Honestly even if I like the video I won’t subscribe to you tubers who do that. Yours was perfect. Everyone knows how to use KZbin and how to subscribe. No ones needs a 2 min intro for ‘don’t forget to hit that bell icon!’ Throwing it in at the end was awesome. It reminds people incase maybe they forgot and I’m sure they’re are people like me who will immediately change videos when they hear the insanely long intro. Lol sorry rant over. Back to the point. I loved every thing about the video, quick, to the point and no annoying intro. I plan to binge watch your channel after I organize my junk drawer. It’s a mess so wish me luck :)

💖 the hack !! Your junk drawer is similar to ours but ours is worst .we actually have 2 cabinets filled . So I did the following We had more pens / sharpies . I tested them . Then all the ones that work . I took 8 pens a few sharpies in different colors 2 pencils and put it in a pretty old floral cup. The rest i rubber banded the pens/ sharpies by color and put them in a zip lock for to get to refill . anything more I donated to a school .. It makes life easier to just have a few and you start keeping things nicer . I have a thing for scissors I suggest keeping them where you typically need them ( I have one in my make up drawer / bathroom/ baby one in my purse / car / garage with cat supplies/ kitchen / night table ) I love those white containers I have 4 sets use them for make up and stationery organization Ppl underuse those plastic envelopes. I love them ! I have smaller ones in my purse for receipts for work / personal / and charity work . Then weekly I just go through them and scan them and shred them

I just watched nd definitely enjoyed ur video, but while watching I noticed u posted this 3 yrs ago nd I'm curious now lol. How's ur junk drawer looking? Did it last? How's it going? Every time I do this I have good intentions, but it never seems to last. Everyone, myself included can't seem to keep it looking great nd functional.

i clean mine today.i have my office supplies in my2 drawers that i used my old end table on my bedroom for socks next to my glass . all old bills are in with old tools in a publix bag i keep in the cabinet. i live in an apartment so.im ok with my space. if i had your drawer i would put cooking utensils in it .

Where did your find you attachment head for your vacuum? How much did you pay for it? We have Dyson V7 and I’ve been looking all over for that wedge piece head attachment

Kelly Riley ours came with the vacuum. Its also on Dyson’s website. We had to buy a second one after my daughter thought it was a good idea to play fetch with the dog with it. 🤦🏽‍♀️
