I've also been decluttering for 10 years now and I just want to scream sometimes because nobody seems to understand my struggle. My husband calls me a human wrecking ball and the sad part is I try SO HARD. lol I feel like I'm so close to finally having our home in a reasonable order. Our homeschooling space is my last giant to slay. Thank you for your inspiration!! 💗

Game changer for me has been doing homeschool sabbath schedule 6 weeks on and 1 week off. On the week off I take the time to declutter and organize and it has been so much more manageable.

@@NotSoPerfectHomeschool I do although I take the entire month of December off and we do fun Christmas school and then month of June off for a longer summer break. Then do just basics/lighter schedule in July Math/reading so we all feel fully rested but find things start to get crazy after more than a month break and we’re all eager to jump back into a routine by early August. Don’t have to worry about any “summer slide”.

It’s funny how we can never find pencils either yet when I clean up they are all there

I have always seen the problem with stacks of workbooks. I have cut the sheets out of the books and/or made copies and packaged the materials by week for each kid. That way they deal with just that week of papers and we keep the rest of the weeks in page protectors all in a binder for each kid.

We’re getting some new ikea cupboards to organize my homeschool stuff and my husband’s board games but they’ve been out of stock for forever, website says they’ll be there on the 24th so once we get those set up I think I’ll be more motivated to get on it. Your drawers looked sooo good when you were done! Looking forward to your next section!
