Decluttering My Mini Office | 30 Days of Decluttering

It's the 25th day of our 30 Day Decluttering Challenge! Today's challenge is Desk Items! Since I do not have an actual physical desk, I decluttered my office cabinet where I keep a lot of my desk items! I think I did a fairly good job decluttering my desk items and office items. Decluttering your micro office can be very cleansing especially if you haven't done it for a while! Let me know how you are doing on your 30 Day Decluttering Challenge!

Keeping the screws is definitely something I would do. My daughter kept her chemo port...looks like a little puple heart which is fitting because it helped save her life. Great video. Reminds me that I need to declutter my desk again.

Oh, yes the ruler. The ruler bothered me too. lol I'm a crafter with hundreds(maybe thousands)of rubber stamps and I do the same thing as you do with the drawers. Everything fits in "just so". Am loving this series. tfs

The screws are not that weird. My dad asked if he could keep my actual appendix when I had emergency surgery to remove it when I was 12. To be fair, my dad was a medic and apparently it was a clinically perfect nearly ruptured appendix and could be put into medical textbooks for an example. The doctor told me about after I woke up. And my dad did not get to keep the appendix.

May I suggest using some tack used to hang posters under the dividers in the drawer? A small bead in each corner will do the trick and the measuring tapes may go on vacation 😉

I too am obsessed with those hinged boxes from the Container Store, although the plastic boxes that the Wrigley's Extra gum comes in work well too once empty.

your medical screw story just gave me a great idea lol. my 13 yo wants to keep the rock that was stuck in his arm after a bad skateboard crash and i have it in a zip lock bag, i'm going to get him a little amex box for it lol! those would also be really good for kids teeth/the tooth fairy!

I found some nice cases for pens or pencils at Michaels craft store they actually call them zippered pouches . They are up by the cash registers cost was $5.00. You might want to go thru the pens and see if all still have ink.

How long do you walk Clover and how many times a day?

I try to take him to the park and play for at least an hour, sometimes 2 if he's having fun playing with other dogs. If he needs a short walk at night, my hubs and I will go together. He's high maintenance, but a happy Bean.

Frame your conductor baton in a shadow box, so it won't get broke.

To keep your diplomas in good shape you might want to wrap them in acid free tissue paper and put them in an acid free box . You can get both at the container store.
