Your doing great 🎉 We have a rule in our house that was implemented back 15 yrs ago. One in-One out. Our closets never grow in size, just quality. We are hard core with it. As soon as we come home from shopping, we immediately get rid of the quantity we are bringing in. Works like a charm.

Love this new direction you’re going in. I love to see a good haul video, but I love decluttering even more. You’re combining reselling and decluttering content and that makes my heart so happy! Keep up the awesome work! You’re doing great with this!

I appreciate your transparency. I just moved from a 3000 sq ft house to a 1800 sq ft condo. It took me almost a year to purge 30 years worth of accumulation but I did it and it feels good. Now, I am doing my second round of purging and that feels even better. I don’t want to continue to carry around all this stuff! The work is hard but so worth it. Tina is worth her weight in gold!

Moved into a new house almost 3 years ago (we had downsized and had to upsize to bring my 91 year old mother to live with us) and I only organized about 85% of most rooms even though there is room for everything. I have been so depressed by the clutter and lack of organization and you are inspiring me to peel my onions as well. Thanks for being so transparent.

Lori! Thank you for your candor and inspiration! Last year we moved from Atlanta to Portugal and I had to liquidate my reseller closet and now we are moving back to the states and I realized we brought stuff with us that we had no reason to ship across the pond. I stopped this video midway and went to my bathroom closet and completely cleaned out all the stuff I'm not using. I appreciate you! xoxox

I hit a point in my life when I realized I was buying way more than what I could even sell. I would find myself feeling so overwhelmed and I would give away tons of my inventory to another reseller ( vendor). Truth is i wasn't a reseller I was just selling so I could support my sourcing addiction, endless nights within a few months span i would clog up my phone with nearly 7000 photos of stuff I aspire to list. It became like a game of esteem just listing stuff to see the attention the item would bring , I was addicted to the curiosity. At this point it's entertainment for me. Your content is inspiring and real.

Decluttering as a reseller is hard because in my mind, “I can list that!” I have been out of reselling until just recently. Life happened with in-laws and I stopped a few years back. I’m more picky now with what I’m picking up. I am going to continue decluttering personal item with you and boy it’s hard!

Lori you are doing great. I have decluttered a lot in the last few years. I am like you I question my decisions. A little hint. Keep a donation box or bin in each room while you are doing this. It is much easy to just put it in a box then take it to another room. Also take stuff out of house asap. If you are running a errand take the donations you have out. You will do this. You are the right track.

Love this video and your process! Keeps me motivated to go thru all my closets as well! We always had a spare bedroom where I would just put things I didn't know what to do with and finally decided to make it into a nursery for our first grandchild so I had to go thru everything and it was awesome and so freeing once it was done! Keep up the great work!

It's amazing to see your process! I just started going through this purging process recently as well in my personal life and in my reselling business, so it's nice to know someone else is going through this as well! I wish I was documenting my purge just to see the transformation process. Can't wait to see future videos of your process!

Love this…I share the same gray area frame of mind. I have so much personal clutter and reseller clutter. I am so unorganized with a huge death pile. I enjoy thrifting time with my mom so even though I don’t need to purchase I go and when you go, you are going to buy. When I try to sort to purge, I talk myself into keeping things. I am trying to set a rule, if I am struggling to get rid of something, use it or wear it and see how you feel…don’t just look at it. For example, I have a pair of hot pink capri jeans that are really pretty for spring and summer. I love the idea of them so it is easy to convince myself to keep them. I have never worn them, put them on and then switch to wear something else. These pretty jeans are just hanging out in my closet taking up valuable space. I forced myself to wear them out to dinner last night. They didn’t fit as well as I would like, felt a little baggy through the thighs. Didn’t really love the outfit I had put together, not feeling my best self but I said I was going to wear them so I did. Of course while out, we ran into some old friends we hadn’t seen in awhile and I was wishing that I had not worn this outfit. This experience helped me let go of these pretty pink jeans. I was in love with the item itself and ignoring how they fit my body and made me feel. The same with jewelry. I am going to wear those heavy earrings and at the end of the day when my ears are hurting, I’m going to get rid of them while the pain is fresh!😂 Thank you for sharing your journey, will continue to watch for more inspiration to purge and organize myself!

You inspire me to go through my storage area of outdoor coats and jackets, heavy blazers, etc - things not stored in bins. Wanted to be ready to source new winter items. I relisted, and donated, and sold 3 things within a few days. I now have twice as much space, but find myself extremely reluctant to bring anything home in that category unless it's a total 5-star winner guaranteed sure thing. LOL. Thanks for the motivation, sweetie.

great progress !! We were minimalist for ease for years when husband was Army..less to pack, less to figure out if it would fit. Once we got home...it was tempting to accumulate...but it made me insane to see stuff...We knew my parents "collected" stuff..its hard to call it hoarding when its Harley Davidsons, pew pews, lead etc...but at one point my dad took us to his "shed" and we were overwhelmed. He passed almost two years ago...still havnt sorted through most... Mama has way more stuff, crafts, collections, Ive slowly got her to purge...but..I dread the day. I think, honestly, that is why we stay so minimal as to NOT leave it to our boys and grands....Ive minimalized my posh closet, closed my ebay store...if it wont sell in 6 months I dont buy it (except the stuff I get specifically for platos and clothes mentor).. Its a big job....youll get it done

I'm getting ready to have HUGE yard sale and get rid of all inventory that hasn't sold. If I can recoup at least what I spent on items, I'll be happy. I live in a community where people come from miles around when we have yard/garage/estate sales. I'm going to start by separating those items from the rest. I'm going to keep my inventory very small, less than 200 items and only buy what I know will sell quickly.

Congratulations on this beginning! I think you were smart to stop with the jewelry and go to your pajama drawer. I always think that a smaller task completed gives you a boost for the next task whereas an up completed big task can really drag your progress. So I would break your jewelry down to smaller tasks. Earrings one day, bread let’s the next, necklaces on the third. Maybe you should do a No thrift October, while you organize your house and sort through your scruff. If today is any indication you will have plenty to list without shopping. Really excellent start!

Lori, my sincere condolences. I say your video Arevresellers over consumers? And i know exactly what you are going through!! My only exception is that at the time my father passed away, my husband and i werevliving with him and as he had his house on a reverse mortgage we had 2 months to move everything out of a 2,000 space home. Literally everything. I even remember how hard it was for me to let go of a red velvet bar with 4 chairs that cost about $2,500 from Mexico. I sold it for $250 firm. But moving everything to my mobile home in another town was torture and i still have about 75% of those boxes unpacked yet. Watching your videos have become my lifesaver (flavor Cherry) in my world to encourage me to sell several items, donate, and just throw away to declutter my life. Change is happening a little at a time and some days it does become unbearable. But i go to youtube and watch your decluttering and i keep feeling there is HOPE! And a LIGHT at the END of the TUNNEL!! Thank you!! Sincerely Amanda Casillas-Gallegos Natalia, Texas

I'm itching all over looking at your basement! I just want to dig in and organize😅. You're doing a great job. One suggestion is try to donate more, at least of your private stuff. Just kick it out of your house! Also look up if there's a women's shelter or something of that nature that you might enjoy more donating to. Then it's not a failure that you bought it and now give it up, it is actually helping someone. I hope you will keep up the good work, it's a massive undertaking!
