I had a bathroom sink like yours in my last place. I used a large plastic cutting board to cover the sink so I had more surface area to work with when I did my hair or makeup. It was a total game changer! It also prevents hair from going down the drain and creating clogs. :)

Hi Lucia, what a fun video and I can relate having lived in small apartments. Bathrooms can get very humid and it might affect the shelf life/longevity of the cosmetics stored in the medicine cabinet which is located so close to your shower. Sometimes the medicine cabinet door intentionally closes n such a way that allows for air flow. I used a small profile plastic cabinet on wheels from the Container Store to store cosmetics. I stored it just outside my bathroom which helped limited the exposure of the products to humidity. Keep up the great organizing effort!

I liked what you said, "It's good for my mental health for my space to be clean and tidy." I feel the same way. So, I guess this is my sign. I've lived in my own apartment for almost two years now and it's not exactly the way I want it. I have to declutter some things behind my recliner in the living room and I really want to treat myself and put a bookcase behind there, but first I need move the stuff behind there. Best bathroom tip is buying reusable/washable cotton rounds and cloths! That way you don't need to store disposable ones. Also using reusable period products save a lot of space too. I haven't watched the video yet so idk if you go over this.

So much more organized! You can get some attractive containers to put on top of the over-the-toilet storage to store your extra cotton rounds, toilet paper, etc., or even your steamer if you want it in the bathroom rather than the ottoman. That would free up a lot of the top inside shelf

I think clear acrylic holders/shelves on the wall beside your mirror for your main makeup would work really well. Pretty sure they are adhesive and shouldn’t damage the wall.

@@ASimplyBookedLife I used some of those in Chicago! But they were drilled in. Adhesive would be great!!

Great organization........except for the top shelf of your over the toilet storage cabinet. All those packages of cotton rounds that were kind of just stuffed on that top shelf could go under your sink in an extra storage bin. You could buy a small round container with a lid for your every day use of the cotton rounds and keep that in your over the toilet cabinet and refill as needed. I hope this is helpful. 😊

Hey Lucia! You should get some more aesthetic baskets and put one on each shelf or so, make a design. You would be able to store your makeup brushes, the dental strips, like you have, and something else. I think that would look good. What do you think? And that way you could grab the basket with all the brushes and then put the basket back when you’re done.

Hi Lucia 🙂 When it comes to bathroom products, us guys do have things easy. A razor, hand wash, shampoo, shower gel, shaving cream, face wash, flannel, toothbrush, toothpaste, toilet rolls, not much else 🤔.
