Its so hard to do this. So many memories if my mom or dad or sister even touched something I won't want to throw it away or donate it. And being disabled it's so hard to move things around. What I have been doing is getting things together, for donation, recycling etc. Takes me months to get it together and get it to the front of my apartment. Then, every few months, I spend 300 dollars or so to hire the junk haulers to take it away. But they go through it and donate it. It's so hard to be decisive though. You're right about not using it for months or years, you dont need it. It's so hard. My dad and sister are now gone. It's hard to even find a reason to do anything, nothing seems to matter, what's the point. I hope you are doing ok, and thank you for your video. It is nice to see the space open up, and that the work does pay off, it's just a hard and slow process. Take care.

Wow, Ron! My husband and I are in the same situation, almost. Needing help with decluttering is kinda tricky, sometimes it's physical, but other times it shifts into hands holding. There's nothing really wrong with that but, as you said it's important to be upfront about what type of help is needed. thanks for posting and articulating what I've been thinking about.

Janet you are very welcome. I speak from my heart in these videos. I am just about to launch a web site to go with the videos. I am going to setup a form for youth to use requesting topics for videos so they may get direction in life while they can remain anonymous. I just want to help people. I hope my youtube channel is able to grow.

i can relate except for the support; hey, it's Teas where nobody cares, especially the "disability agencies" and those who warm a church pew 3X/week who do absolutely nothing, or worse...

I am doing more cleaning right now (this very week). The help this week has come from building relationships. One day at a time. :)
