I agree with you--this is the easiest way to foil! You don't need a machine, you don't have to burn yourself, you not only can use your handwriting but you can use a stamp and Versamark. Thanks for the excellent tutorial.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!!! I was trying and trying, watching so many KZbin videos about this method, and couldn't figure out what on earth I was doing wrong. Defective glue pen? Bad foil pressing method?? The girl I saw do this on instagram had given me pretty solid instructions! Well thanks to your CLEAR video, it turns out I was laying the foil sheet on upside down. *facepalm* It just made sense to me for some reason for the sparkly gold part to "stick" directly onto the glue. THANK YOU again!!!

*Quick note- It's called a 'two-way' glue pen because you can use it for both a permanent fixative as well as a temporary/removable fixative. If you affix the embellishment immediately after applying the glue it will be permanent. If you allow the glue to dry for 20-30 seconds and then affix the embellishment, it will be removable so you will be able to reposition it if you wish. (All glue pens are like double sided tape...)*

Hi I have seen WRMK heatwave foil online can you use that foil with an iron or laminator and 2 way glue pen or any other adhesive ? TIA

Excellent tutorial. Alleene sells a bottle glue similar to that and can be brushed. Maybe brayed or stamped to yield a surface to accept your burnished foil. Musn't forget that Ranger sells both an adhesive in a tube plus their new gel used mostly for stenseled patterns.

is 'deco foil' the same as hot foil ? Ive bought a roll of hot foil and it seems to work pretty good. I think deco foil is just another name....

Hi! Do you know if nail foil would work for this instead of the brand you're using? I'm not able to get stuff like Heidi Swap Minc foil or Deco Foil but I've found some foil online that's for nails that looks similar.

Every time I use Deco foil it reminds me of nail foil so I'd say it would probably be a fair shot to try it out!
