I'm only a few minutes in but I think this could definitely be up there for me. I don't generally get any "tingles" from ASMR videos where people are just tapping on stuff and doing deliberate trigger sounds, which seems to be what a lot of ASMR channels are focusing on. But give me a video of someone conveying an idea or explaining something in a calming way, with some pleasing sounds happening naturally in the process, and I'm chillin'.

I liked that he explained it. It fit with what he was saying, like a metaphor for emotions. People express emotions in many different ways, just as pens are made to write differently. And sometimes, as with the Sharpie he's using, emotions will bleed into the next day or the next emotion.

@@josiieposie Synonymous with children, its meant for children. He can buy candy at the store because he CAN afford it. You don't understand, non of you understand the danger of depression and Meta modern conception into normal situations, it isolates everything and makes active events seem like punishment. He can get candy at the doctors/dentists/eye doctors office, but it is meant for children after their shot, or to keep them good and behaved. A 27 year old can get this candy, but his reasoning is not all quite sound, as this is a symbol for children. Aging color or who can play with legos is a little different, you can't really put an age or gender on who has a lego set or who wears a pink outfit. However, partially it is true that lego sets are meant for a younger audience. It's sometimes cute when a kid is shy and stubborn, but its bizzare when a 27 year old attributes the same factors and is usually disregarded as mentally unwell. This follows hand in hand the same way.

@Royal Exodus what if you fuse logical reasoning to your art? People describing a story, people who have a meaning behind their creativity which puts up front the way they see the world? Doesn’t make any sense to say both are opposites. And who says actual “logic” exists, because from my understanding of the world, people are unable to be rational, they can only be rationally irrational or efficiently irrational in a way that isn’t damaging. We’re not computers, our feelings really paint every information we take in in a different light. Our emotions always fuse with everything we take in, facts can be interpreted very differently based on your personal feelings on the facts. For example Ex: There’s a higher chance that the second twin is transgender if the first twin is But the chance is only 27%, which *is* higher than normal siblings which aren’t twins The left wing lgbt supporters would interpret that as, yes it is indeed shown that there is a biological connection to transgenderism But the transphobes would interpret that, the percent isn’t high enough because if two twins are identical they should have the exact SAME chance to be trans In the end, feelings are great and don’t take away any value of what you think or feel. Logic is a part of feelings. And they change, develop, just as logic does at the same time. We live with both a brain and a heart which makes us very beautiful beings

I know it’s been a while since you uploaded this video. But this literally changed my life. I’ve always been sort of out of touch with myself. When I first saw this, I started drawing on sticky notes, and I did so every day at work. I followed your guide to put feelings on paper. It helped me learn how to feel and how to express that to not only myself but to others. It helped me learn how to navigate my emotions through art, not just pen and paper but all sorts of art. I still struggle a lot with everything still, and sometimes I’m not ok. But it’s ok not to be ok sometimes. At least I have a really cool sticky note collection now! Cheers you are a wonderful person

I used to always come to this video when I was feeling horrible anxiety. How crazy is it that so many people have felt individually touched all in unique ways from this little video about drawing your feelings? I feel like I relate to it so strongly. I have autism and have, since watching this video years ago, drawn my feelings when I'm having meltdowns. They're usually completely nonsensical to anyone else but to me they show absolutely every emotion I'm feeling in those times. It's ridiculously therapeutic to take part in this kind of thing, even if you're like me and can't draw to save your life. I have found nothing that can accurately depict my feelings as much as these drawings can. No words in the human language can describe some feelings because language just feels too linear for something that is so astoundingly complex. I am very thankful I stumbled across this video years back. I found it during a rough patch in my life and every time things feel hopeless, I come back to this. There's something about the way Peter talks that just makes you feel understood - he's not too happy, too sad, too optimistic or pessimistic, he's just human and it's wonderful.

I recently started doing this in a mini sketchbook. This month has probably been the hardest month in my life, and has left me with a therapist who tells me I have a chronic mental disorder thanks to trauma. I've always thought the best therapist is a pen on paper; it just listens, to all my ramblings, to my worries, to my tears. Drawing feelings is a very intimate and special thing, and I'm glad you shared it with me.

Lydlazer Shaw I'm recovering from sad times. I didn't really have any trauman just got very sad. I have had anxiety all my life though. I agree. I encourage you to draw, scribble, write, aimlessly run a pen around. I hope you feel better fren or at least that your pain is relieved soon

I couldn't take my attention away from it. Thank you for this creation if it matters hearing it from a complete stranger on the internet.

He's using his sticky notes as en expressive medium, and I relate to his drawings on interpersonal and intersubjective levels that could not be explained, this form of catharsis is magnificent. I think people with unexpressed/stifled emotions in a neurotic state will be the ones to relate and find a sense of affability in this heartfelt video.

This is an amazing proof of a studied principle: it's impossible to draw a face without it having an expression/conveying an emotion. And, also in the case of lines, they are not neutral: they express mood even unintentionally. A great lesson for artists, given with a sense of humor.

Droid Gamma Epsilon 5 | Not necessarily. It's possible their civilization is so advanced that they won't feel the need to take our resources. Think of how we can choose to watch rabbits eating grass or how we can choose to watch ants work together to drag food back to their colony. We could easily destroy the rabbit or the ants for their resources, but we can instead admire the beauty of their existence instead given how comfortable our own lives are in comparison. I dunno.
