Election in India is nothing short of a festival, the festival of democracy. From posters to rallies to promises to blatant lies: we get to witness it all. But as always, dig deeper and one will realise that this festival means different things to different people. For the BJP fans, this election is a matter of life and death while for Congress supporters, it is a fight to protect the country's democracy. But what about the people who are voting specially the ones from Manipur?
For the past year we at EastMojo have been trying our best to show the reality of Manipur and despite making 100s of videos, we seem no closer to a solution.
At this point, it seems Manipur is more broken than ever and nothing will change that. The only question that remains is: will we ever see Manipur the way it was?

I heard this new channel have been biased all these days and even before this war broke on 28the april this news agency were on Manipur ahead. So, I came to check and surprisingly its true 😂. How much ll you be bias aginst these two community.

This channel already knew that violence will start on 28 April, 2023. That way the reporters assembled at Churachandpur, Kangpokpi & Moreh for video recording of the scheme. As this channel is paid heavily by the kukis with their narco money, like many lutien media do, this channel is advocating the cause of kuki only and accusing the hindu meiteis as the perpetrators. Anyone who has delved into previous reports by this channel will know it well.

As an outsider. 1. BJP is playing the majority and minority game. BJP wants the hill lands to mine. Simple. 2. Not a single maitei community person that was interviewed ever questioned BJP cm or accepted that they were also responsible for the violence. 3. The leader of the extremist group clearly stated on Karan Thapar show that things will get worst and no one can do anything about it. Was he stopped. Nope. 4. Even after such mismanagement, I still see kuki BJP leaders trusting center. Even to find this news as a non North East person, I had to dig. Because the narrative created by BJP in election is that it will win seats easily in the east. So I was curious.
