#EdgeofTomorrow is an American sci-fi action film that released in the year 2014. The movie featured #TomCruise and Emily Blunt in lead roles and was directed by Doug Liman. Edge of Tomorrow is based on a screenplay adapted from the 2004 Japanese light novel All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka. The mind-bending movie can be confusing for some people. Edge of Tomorrow, Rita and Cage get the job done by eliminating Omega. Cage inherits powers from Omega to reset the day as a blood transfusion happens between them on his fatal wound. As Cage and Rita are alive in the end, the world is saved without anyone knowing what exactly happened apart from Cage. It is an interesting ending where Cage and Rita look at each other and Cage smiles at Rita. This implies that maybe there is some future to them.

Well I don't know about others, but this is my theory. I think that according to the ending of this movie, if we consider all timelines as a plane, then omega is in the centre of it. Just like you said that Omega sent the consciousness of its alpha to the nearest possible timeline where the conditions are timeline, then this means that Omega is some kind of being that existed beyond the 4 dimensions and that there was a single omega who existed for all timelines. The proof of this can be seen in the ending, because when Omega blood reaches the main character, and time resets before the beginning of the day, there is a news of omega being dead. So I guess that instead of having any evil intention, when Omega blood reaches the main character, he becomes the omega himself and subconsciously resets the day to the time before his problems because he didn't want to go through the pain all again.

My theory is similar to u but differs alot from pj's . I think pj made it way more complicated . My theory - The movie continues on a single time ( there isn't any connection of parallel or multiverse ) It's just that omega has the ability to reverse the time . I think that it's a single timeline. And everytime when cage dies the day is reversed to the starting of the day . And starts again( like most video games that when u die u begin again ) And at the end i agree with ur point that cage becomes omega and aliens have lost . Movie ends on a happy note . Cage has gone to meet Emily blunt and from there he will live a normal life ( they have ended movie on a doubt note so that they can make its sequel in future to earn money but i wish edge of tomorrow remain a single movie as i am happy with its ending)

for those who liked the movie, please go and read the manga All You Need is Kill (it was a adaption of the light novel, on which the movie is based on). the story is very mature compared to the movie, it showed human insecurities and life struggles and the immortal cycle is explained in detailed.. I mean seriously the artist deserves a lot of praise, the artwork is a killer!
