@@JorisWeima Ashtwakra was born to a great Seeker who lost to another seeker in debate of Vedanta. His dad, per condition of loosing, kills himself. His mother goes back to her dad and lives with there. Since his body has many crooks, people would laugh as he walked. This humiliation and loss of dad and the environment around(his paternal grandfather was also a learned person) him gave him detachment. i think people are born dead and have no ego usually and then identifying with the I and that your body is a temple for the divinity that I am, if you don't consider it, that You are HIM, the good god, and thus you will slay your life and body living as an evil or short sighted being. And the hard part, everyone has died so is anyone good enough for the life I have? We need to build a better world and be better higher minded more fully grounded entity. The highest spiritual must be the lowest deepest grounded or it will lead to God suiciding himself in your body. Perhaps this is the mystery of eternal life, make Me happy.
